{Many} months ago, I was having a HORRIBLE day. I came home the most handsome man cooking dinner in {my apron}, the table set, a glass of wine was ready & when I reached the kitchen... he pushed play! :)

 I laughed & cried at the same time because it was exactly what I needed.

NOTE: this my friends,would have been the song Aaron & I were going to dance to

as our first dance. However, he panicked & said "J, it's just too fast. Look at you now, you'd have me all over the dance floor. The words are perfect, but it's just too fast for our first dance." {as I danced by myself in our living room the night he decided this was NOT our first dance song.}

However, this will be {our} last dance for the night... as the party will continue.

2. Walk with You

THIS song is the song I'm dancing with my Step Dad. I'm completely in love with it.

Being he is walking me down the aisle & my Daddy will be the {only} one dancing solo with me for the daddy daughter dance.

I plan to give this song to my step dad, Aaron, the day before so he can really listen to the words.

He means the world to me & is really having a hard time, emotionally with me getting married. :)

It won't be a solo dance, but it will mean everything to me. He's a great dad & has been since I was just a little girl.

Wedding Wednesday

101 Days to go...

So, with three months and one week to go, I'll have you know... the many dates with my glue gun and scissors have begun. I'm staying busy busy busy with all kinds of projects.

My fiance' thinks I've entered a new world when I came up with the idea a few weeks back to cancel my order with my florist.... and hand make everything! Yes, I said it. On top of a million other projects [which are coming along just dandy] I've decided that I won't have ANY real flowers at my wedding. None! Zip, Zero!

[ This is NOT my bouquet or my inspiration. ]

I've been busy making this and that, however I'm loving it. I am soak this entire "planning" time up and will always know that my wedding day came from heart! It will be OUR perfect day. Let me add, that even though he thinks I'm insane, he loves the ideas. He is actually creating his ideas too, for the mens boutonnieres!

We met with our officiant Monday night! Longer than we expected, but it was so wonderful. He went over lots of different things with us and then discussed our relationship.  I won't go into details, but after 2.5 hours, we left feeling extremely happy.

He asked a ton of questions about us & our relationship... it was a bit odd, but it was really great. [Odd, defined as... hard to discuss] Aaron isn't the greatest at expressing his emotions out loud. The Counseling was good.

All my bridesmaids dresses have been ordered! Yay! I actually ran into a small issue with the Bridal Shop. I've had nothing but amazing things to say about them, however a few of my ladies who were last to get fitted, had a different opinion. The manner was taken care of.

The only thing scary about this whole DRESS thing is she told me they would SHIP the dresses on August 8th. Whaaaaa.... That's less than one month from the wedding.

YIKES! My prayers have begun.

Things have been SO smooth. I do not need the stress from ' NO BRIDESMAID DRESSES.

 

The company we ordered our linen from have been giving us issues.

Well, first I will say, our caterer was supposed to supply certain linen and now they've informed us they no longer do it. So... we were lucky enough to address this situtation asap and had no problem getting more. They actually arrived a few days ago.

HOWEVER, the company we purchased our "must have" table linen from has been giving us issues. We purchased the linen & chair ties back in Febuary. The ties came in, however they sent an email stating the table linens were on back order. They would be in, in April. Well, it's May. We got another email stating the same thing, it would be May 31st. PRAY they come in. This is WACK!!! They've received our money in full, now give us the linens.

I've mentioned that we had our entire wedding music list picked out and ready to rumble.

Well... Aaron decided that our first dance song was not good enough.

Whhhaaa? I'm still hoping he changes his mind, because I love the song. So, we are back again... searching for THE song. It's harder than finding THE dress!

 June is coming fast & is a very busy month. It pretty much screams WEDDING.

We have four weddings to attend. Caitlin, over at A Journey from Miss to Mrs being one of them. JUNE = Weddings, showers & appointments galore!

So for now, that's it. That's where we are at! That's where it is...

September 3rd... bring.it.on!!!!

1. Do you know how to play a musical instrument?

I do NOT know how to play an instrument. Years ago, I taught myself how to play my grandmothers Organ.. but's since she's gone to heaven... I've never picked it up again! :( BORING!

 2.What's your pet peeve while driving?
A slow driver in the fast lane! THEN you go to pass them on the right lane [illegal] && they speed up!

3. Would you rather have a housekeeper or unlimited spa services?I NEVER want a housekeeper. No, I do not think anything is wrong with it. But, it's so rewarding to me when my house is clean && I got it that way. I LOVE the spa.. Once upon a time I worked at a Spa... Oh boy did I take advantage. Pedicure every week & an HOUR massage at LEAST once a month.... I miss those days!

 4. Is there a song that you hear that will take you back to the moment, like a junior high or high school dance?
Oh there are many, but one that will bring me right back to the night all my classmates were in Orlando, celebrating Grad Nite... USHER ALL THE WAY! Pretty much all of his songs were BIG HITS in 2004 - But the one that stands out most is...

5. What song best represents your life right now?

Okay.. So I've been with Aaron for 9.5 years. We share a home, share money, take care of each other like Husband & Wife, talk about our life together, have bigs plans together.... I'm ready. && yes... it's taken everybit of 9.5 years to get to this point. If i had a choice to change things and marry him years ago... NO WAY! We've changed SO much through the years, struggled MANY of days, && today our relationship is beyond incredible. I'm just ready to be a Wife... [He knows this]

OKAY - So.. I'm adding a little sump-sump to this blog... If you read my blog yesterday.. You would know that my 25th birthday is in two weeks... My girlfriend, Brycelyn threw me [& my best friend, Danielle (24)] a small cocktail party to celebrate. I'm a birthday queen && think it's SERIOUS to celebrate ALL ages and ALL birthdays. It should NEVER be just one day. My man disagrees. So, take a second to look at my first celebration of age 25. It was great!

Getting to know YOU

It's my first time playing. Sundays are usually pretty busy for me, but this weekend I've had a lot of time to relax and actually enjoy time doing NOTHING. It's really great!

1. If a person has a booger in their nose. and you can see it, do you tell them?
Definitely not if I don't know them or really if I barely know them. I would only tell a person if I'm comfortable enough to know that they would appreicate it & not get embarassed. 




2. What are you passionate about?
Like Keely, My Family. But, I have a passion for disabled kids & Adults. I LOVE to work with the special Education children. Since I first started working with them, [back in high school], they've introduced me to real life. They are truely one of a kind, & brighten my day.

3. How long have you been blogging?
I'm just a new comer. Only since Late February.


4. What is your favorite "summer" drink?
Pink Lemonade. I LOVE it year round. I also love sweet tea! As far as Alcoholic - Anything Fruity or an ICED cold Miller Lite.


5. What is your favorite type of music?
I enjoy listening to all music. I say all, but mainly, Country, Oldies, 80's, 70's, Pop, Alternative, soft rock, SOME hard rock... Very little Rap. I'm not a Head bangger!


6. Something I do before I go to bed is......?
Yes, that is an open ended question... My Kitchen has to be cleaned! Brush my Teeth, Set my Alarm, & Kiss my Love Good Night.


7. My Summer vacation plans are...?
This summer isn't looking very good. Well, it'll be great, but we'll be taking small weekend get a ways this summer. We've got waaay too much going on & our wallets are on the empty side with the house. [JUST had to purchase a new refridgerator today :( ]


8. My favorite must have, can't live without, beauty product is?
My Clinique Foundation. I wear it everyday. When I don't... my pores get clogged & I can't take it. Other than that.. Probably my Clinique Face Lotion.

 1. What is your favorite "eat" on Thanksgiving?

Ohhh Goodness. Geez, I love everything! But, if I had to pick one dish that is a "must eat" on Thanksgiving it would be Turkey Dressing. Ohhh boy ohhh boy! It's CrAzY good!



2. What is the name your best girl friend and the best trait about her or how you met (or heck, both!!)
-I don't have just one. I have many outstanding girlfriends, & they all win different awards. But, my number one bestest friend would go to my Mom. Clique right? Well, seriously... We are Mom & Daughter... & best friends too. Best Trait - She's Super Woman!


3. What would you say is one of your "weirdest" quirks?
- Haha, I'm with Mama M. I have bazillion strange quirks. Many that My Love has to hear all the time. A new quirk that I've just discovered about myself is... All our electric outlet covers & Light Switch covers... the line in the screw have to be horizontal. My Love put all of them up & I was quick to follow behind him fixing them.


4. What is your favorite genre of music? (Hip hop? Classical? Rock? etc.)
Oh, I love most genre. Like most, I'm not into the Heavy Heavy stuff. I'm in LOVE with 70's & 80's music. If anyone wants to bring a smile to my face, play 80's. I also love Country. Carrie Underwood's is just out of this world. All eyes & ears on her when she appears to be heard or seen!
- And Yes, I'm a BIG fan of Christmas Music too. It's not Christmas without Christmas songs playing in the car!!!


5. Are you a Night Owl...or an Early Bird?
Hmm? I'm gonna say a little bit of both. Depending on what's going on. I don't like to be out too too late, or get up too too early. I am a happy camper in the morning though.

Surprise Surprise!!!

This weekend was A-MAZING, but I feel like I have weights sitting on myeyelids this morning.  NOT GOOD!  Friday, Aaron and I both took the day off. We spent that morning getting things some things done for the house. After our errands, & eating at The Omelette House we headed back to Ellabell. Aaron was leaving for Santee to go "Serious" Fishing. [Serious defined Sleep in the Jon Boat... bring your own TP fishing!] I had already packed his bags the night before.. but I was really sad this time. I secretly packed Oreos & Chocolate Chips.. We had every kind of medicine [incase he was starnded], extra water and a picture of US to go along with it. [HAHA] I was completely fine with staying back until that morning. My heart hurt. He was coming back that Sunday, but this time... I was s0o0o sad. It isn't usually like that. To tell ya the truth, I cried as I walked away... I went inside and lifted up the blinds a tiny bit and watched him leave... because he knows me so well.. he was waving good-bye, knowing I was peeking... that made it worse. - I then went shopping w/ Danni & later hun out w/ Rachel & Lacey Howell!
Saturday morning - I packed my bag! I couldn't stand it. I knew Aaron wouldn't be staying on the boat all night. In fact, that night we would be joining his parents at their place in Santee. Aaron orginally asked me to come up Saturday, but I declined being I had to work & MOthers Day was the next day.
So, I worked until 2 o'clock and then helped my girlfriend Holly at her Dance Studio.We finished at 5:35 and I was calling Mrs. Kandi informing her I was on my way.   It takes two hours to get there, which would make me arriving at 7:40. Traffic was wonderful, and I made it in an hour & fourty minutes. :)

He was surprised, and I must say.. he was wearing a HUGH smile [& called me sneaky]. He thought I was going out for a Bachorlette Party! Later that night, After dinner... Aaron hands me his Ipod, telling me he wants me to listen to this song. [I smiled big...knowing something was up]

Did it not just give you the most Amazing chills & make your heart beat 10 times faster? Because that's what mine was doing... only I teared up too! He's incredible!

Sunday - MOTHER'S DAY! :) Mama & Aaron were coming home from the races. So, I played 9 holes of golf w/ Mrs. Kandi, Mr. Paul, & Aaron that morning, and then headed back to meet my parents, Kim, Tommy & the kids for Dinner at Cheddars. Mama didn't know we were going to be there. We surprised her as well. It was a great turn out! I got home, just enough to change clothes and head to Paul & Amandas. It was actually their ONE YEAR Anniversary! They asked us over for Steaks! [Delicious] . We also watched them eat their Wedding cake, which apparently was nasty. They made some pretty awful facial expressions. We ended the night playing Mario Brothers! :)
As for Aaron and I, we are PASSED exhausted today! Both of us agreed to bedtime EARLY. Of course after we cut hair & do some house work! :)

It sounds Clique, but I fall in love with him everyday. [Even on those challenging days]

Last Night, laying on the bed talking about anything and everything... I simply looked at my love, and said "I love you more & more everyday." Of course, I got the whole, half smirk thing that he does with no words. I said, "You don't love me more everyday?"  [With a Smile], and he then replied, "No." So,  imagine my crinkled forehead, with that slight smile, saying.. "Baby! You don't?" And again, he said "No."  So, I took a gulp of air, and once again, I crinkled my forhead and gave him that slight smile, saying no words. 

 As he took my hand, he said...  "I don't ever want to reach the top, because once you've reached the top, you can't go further. "  My nose crinkled & that BIG smile appeared... &  my heart  fluttered. I felt like I was back in high school.

I'm an extremely emotional person, in every kind of way & I don't have a hard time letting it show. Aaron's very emotional too, yet not often is it seen or heard. Over the years, I've learned that you have to take the bad [or the average] with the good. Not everyday will be, yucky love stuff... and not everyday will he make my heart flutter like last night. But on the days that he does, I hold them close. Because rarely do I hear words like that. So when he does speak a such, I know it's truely within his heart.
