friday letters

Photobucket

Dear Paycheck, it's sad because I didn't even know you arrived today. Maybe because you seem so slack now-a-days, all my wants for these coral, yellow & navy blue clothes & accessories are killing me. Dear Hubby, I'm so sorry I motor boated the back of your sweat pants last night... while you were wearing them. I couldn't help it. Thank you for making me laugh hysterical everyday. I knew I married you for a reason. Dear Job, come on already. You know what I'm talking about. Dear body, why could yo not be the slimmer type. All this weight gain is starting to take over and I'm super sad about it. I wish I didn't like to eat. Dear Cactus, you are the only plant I've ever been able to keep alive. It's been two years since you've lived with us, please don't die now. I need my husband to believe I am great with your species, fail. Dear Bloggers, anyone want to volunteer your time and help me get my {followers} to show? I've deleted my gadget and added it and it still isn't there. Is a gadget and a widget the same thing? Help me. Please? On the other hand, thank you all for following me and developing a unique bond - nobody understands the love I have for ya'll being we don't even know you. But I do. I truly love you all and you all make me very happy. Dear Michele, Have a wonderful time at your 30th birthday party this weekend {Casino Style}. I know your sisters have been working so hard on it for a while now, I so wish we could be there to celebrate with you. Dear hometown friend, I wish I could take your pain away. I wish this misery would all be gone and you could be truly happy. Time heals all wounds. Time sucks. I'm so sorry this is all happening in your life but you are stronger than you know and I think you are an amazing person. Be true to yourself always. Put yourself first. When you do that, you will find the happiness that's been waiting a very long time for you to arrive. Dear Shih Tuz fever, please go away. How I would love to parent another Shih Tuz, I also love my time with my hubby. No distractions. I think I may ask for one of you by July 1st. Yeah, that would an awesome  birthday present. Hmmmm... I really need this dog fever to leave. I wanna be selfish for as long as possible. Amanda started this. She is to blame, but Mirana is just stinkN adorable. Is it freaky I show Mirana off to everyone as if I know her/him personally? My husband says so. This fever needs to stop.
Jackson
My once upon a time fur child who now is adopted by my in-laws. However he still comes to visit everyday for a total of ... 15 minutes. {And yes, the largest Shih-Tuz you've ever seen. Also my MIL cuts him herself. :)}

That's it for today. I think...

Sometimes Always with wishes.

sometimes: i tell myself to start eating healthy.
always: hang onto it for a few days and ... crash.

sometimes: i say I'm going to save save save
always: end up shopping.

sometimes: i try to dedicate two  mornings a week to catch  my emails and comments.
always: I get side tracked in the mornings with house chores.

sometimes: I say I'm going to start running.
always: it never happens.

sometimes: i get baby fever.
always: Reality hits me and remember I'm truly not ready.

sometimes: i like when people catch me singing in the car. it makes me & them smile.
always: speed up when I'm not singing and a car rides side by side. very weird.

sometimes: fast food gets the best of me.
always: feel guilty immediately after and get pissed at myself.

The End!

Product of the Week: Coochy

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

I shared this on twitter & instagram {#jessicaldrew} on Sunday.
I'm pretty sure most people gave me a crazy look thinking...
Really?

Yeah but really...
The BEST shave cream EVER!

It's amazing.
Not only is it a cream but it also conditions your skin leaving
NO rash. NO itch. NO razor burn.

This product is for woman & men.
The key is to apply it on your skin for 3-4 minutes to let it soak into your
pores - once you've done that have at it. You will LOVE it.
In the winter when your man gets that crazy rash down this neck/chin area & his face due to shaving... Buy him this. I tell ya it works.

It's a little pricey compared to other shaving creams - $18 for an 8oz {this size}
and $12 for a 4oz bottle. You get more for your money with the 8oz bottle.
However, a little goes a long way. It last for a while. I've been working on this bottle
{grapefruit} for about 2 months now. So, it's not gonna drain your pocket.

You can find it at your nearest Pure Romance Consultant or go HERE.

WEN is where it is.

Product of the week link up with
Aly & Tiffanie!

my product:

Wen Hair Care 90-Day Supply

having issues with your hair?
dry? frizzy? pure yuck?

you need this product.
mainly the shampoo & conditioner.
... and then you know you need the rest but really.
no joke.
wen product is amazing.

expenisive I know.

not only am I a Used-To-Be-Stylist
but I am also a firm believer in spending money on your hair.

good shampoo makes a complete difference.
seriously. no kidding.

"If your hair is dry, frizzy, oily, dull or out of control, the problem might not be your hair—it might just be your shampoo.
Shampoos that lather use sulfates and detergents, which can strip your hair of natural essential oils, and make it less manageable. WEN® is different. The creamy formula cleanses and conditions without harsh chemicals to improve the look and feel of hair.
You can see the difference after just one use. In fact, in a 3-week study of users of WEN® cleansing conditioner:
97.5 % of participants saw more shine
90% of participants saw less frizz
90% of participants saw more bounce and body"

order it here.
you can thank me later.

hates it. What? Really?

Living in Yellow, link up.

i linked up with Erin, from Living in Yellow, with
25 facts about yourself.
this was extremely hard, but here it goes.
one.
i take long hour [sometimes two] baths everyday, never showers, of course unless I am not home. I refill my bath tub up three times with hot water & bubbles & my wine glass. it's the only time i actually s.t.o.p during the day.
two.
i have no fear of a dance floor.
i am that person that never leaves & by the end of the night her face is apple red.
i would love to take ball room dance lessons at some point in my life.
this is me doing the 'bernie' for the first time - at a wedding this October.

three.

three.
as much as i will not admit it to my husband...
i'm the biggest sore loser when playing against him.
four.
i get high off of hosting parties.
something about the details brings joy to my heart.
{expensive hobby}
five.
i talk a lot.
too much sometimes.
i talk faster than the normal.
six.
i am very comfortable in my own skin.
i have my moments where i wanna wear baggy t-shirts to hide my
bloated- i ate too much- gained 10 lbs {opps}... but i like my body and what
god has given me. that being said... if i ever got any kind of change to my body, i would
have them suck out my boobs & inject it in my butt.
seven.
i have a weird love for airports & flying.
something about tugging my luggage around & waiting on a flights
excites me. makes me feel like i'm somebody... big. {ha}

eight.
i want to learn how to sew... really bad.
on my 24th birthday {2 years ago},  my mother bought me a sewing machine
and i've yet to learn. in fact, the box was never opened until my aunt came down for the wedding. i refuse to get rid of it.
nine.
my mom is my backbone.
my day is not the same if i don't stop in for morning coffee...
let alone talk to her.

ten.
my dream is to stay at home with our children & be a PTO mom.
eleven.
i pout when i don't get my way.
it's just something i do unintentionally. it usually gets Aaron every time.
twelve.
we have a little girls name picked out {& have for years}
that's if we are blessed with a little girl.
allison rainie drew.
allison because 'alli' was the only  girl name Aaron liked many years ago
when randomly discussing names. Ali Drew didn't work for me so I added allison.
rainie because it's what everyone called my grandmother - she was the rock of the family.
the best part about that name is it's Aaron's initials. That was not planned.

thirteen.
aaron is ahead on 'baby time' more than i am. i'm not ready.
but i'd be lying if i told you i don't picture how sexy he'd be as a daddy
... everyday.

fourteen.
i always read the last chapter first before i begin a book.
i read magazines starting from the back.
15.
i have two tatoos.
sixteen.
i'm so unorganized, yet the most organized person you will ever meet.
unorganized = items or clothes behind the cabinets/closet doors of stuffing clothes in drawers because they can not be seen {worlds worst} is my weakest & it drives me crazy. yet i document everything & start planning for events in our lives months before the day. i have binders & folders that keep me organized.
that being said, i've already started planning our 1st year anniversary.
seventeen.
on my sweet sixteenth birthday party, I {& two other friends} performed a coyote ugly dance in front of my 40-ish high school friends. we used a slip N slide as my bar top & actual took tea pitchers as they did in the movie to pour water on us, we even had spotlights on us. it was a moment in my life i will never forget and often go back to it.

eighteen.
i am addicted to hobby lobby, love, & social media.
nineteen.
a physic once told me i was going to have twin boys.
... and a lot of other things that [so far] as come true.

twenty two.i-laugh-really-loud.
twenty three.
i believe in taking pictures of everything & every event.
twenty four.
I could watch Sandra Bulloch movies all.day.long & never get bored.
i think she is amazing all around.
25.
i never tell your secrets.

It's OKAY Thursday!

Its Ok Thursdays

It's Okay that not only do I drive a bright blue car but
that I have duct tape taping my bottom panel from scraping the bottom.
As if it doesn't bring enough attention.
{last Friday night I hit a dog... that is not okay. frown.}

It's okay that I've been dreaming of eating a McDonald's
{Value Meal}since 10:30am.  Not to mention me thinking to remind them to make sure they salt my fries. ugh!

It's Okay that I flat iron my hair only HALF way this morning
leaving the back to finish drying... I'm rocking the POOF extreme... with no hair tie.
{maybe its not really okay}

It's Okay that I only spent $86 dollars at my first
Willow House Party when I already have too many casserole dishes to count.
AND I booked a party which means I'll probably spend more.

It's Okay to hand the Mommy's 'Trick or Treat' bags out as we do the same for children this year... only the mommy bags will have Pure Romance Goodies in their bags.
HEY I gotta book more parties. Santa is coming SOON!
{my husband is seriously freaked out about this as I filled the bags with condoms & lubricant last night}

Yes, I sell Pure Romance... and that my friend is OKAY!

It's Okay that I only drank 3 glasses of wine on a Wednesday night {after} supper
was finished. {as I filled my 'trick or treat bags' bags with goodies} What can I say it was a super boring day at work, someone had to spice it up.

It's Okay that I am writing all of this instead working on my campaign...
I mean I only have 20 more minutes before I leave for the day...
{I should be fired}

-------------------------------------------------------------

I'm super excited about tonight because I'm having
dinner {Mexican at that} with one of my very good friends, Dee. It was her birthday earlier this month so what she doesn't know  is I have a little something up my sleeve for her! :) Fun fun!

Breaking the Ice [One Day Late]

Perfectly imperfect Jenn

Thanks to Aly, she not only inspired me to follow along
with Jenn's Breaking the Ice but she now has me screaming
You're my boy BLUE... You're my boy....

1) Tell one thing not many people know about you.
I am an extremley exciting person. Okay, so that sounds just bad.
I'm not saying I'm amazing. What I'm saying is I get very excited for everything.
Excitment is one of my personality traits.
Along with my A.D.D. & my A.D.H.D [& I love my A.D.D & A.D.H.D], I come across overwhelming to people who don't know me sometimes. You may have just bought a house or just got engaged or just found out your are having a baby and I will just as excited for you [seriously, hand down] as if I were experiencing it for myself. I'll probably ask you questions like "How did he propose?" etc. when I don't know you that well and I truely REALLY want to know. I love happy times. And when I'm experiencing something new or happy myself, my excitment comes out everywhere. This is just who I am.
[I chose this answer because this year inparticular I've run into people judging me for my excitement and not knowing how to take it. That insults me. So I've had to learn that my excitment can be overwhelming and maybe annoying (to that sour, I hate my life person(s)). But also understand that it is who I am. I can't help I am a happy person and I rather dwell on happy times when sit and talk why life DOES suck at times]

2) If you HAD to change your first name, what would you change it to?
Geez, I don't know. As a child, I always wanted my name to be Rebecca.
But, if I had to change it now, I'd change it to Rainie. That's what everyone called my grandmother. It's short for Loraine.   Or maybe I should change it to Ann for humor.
First Name = Ann
[In two months] Last Name = Drew

3) What are your 3 favorite songs of the moment?
Blake Shelton - Honeybee
Lady AnnaBellum - Just a Kiss
Lady AnnaBellum - When you got a good thing

4) List 3 goals on your life's to-do list:
Celebrate 50 years of Marriage with Aaron
Make mini Jessicas & mini Aarons
Host Thanksgiving dinner [My Family Style]
Click HERE to see what I mean.

5) What is one of your favorite quotes!
The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart. -Helen Keller

6) Fill in the blank: If I had an extra 10 dollars to spend . . I would buy __________?
...my toes a makeover. Well $10 is just a paint job. But that works too.

7) What’s your birth date?
July 1, 1985

8) Do you have a hidden talent and if so what is it?
I can fold my tongue completely backwards and keep it there AND also pick my nose with my tongue. Niiiiice. That's as good as it gets.

9) What do you think of when you hear the word blue?
Well, besides Aly getting Blue from OLD SCHOOL in my head, I would probably say my Something Blue for the wedding. :)

10) Finish this thought: I need . . .
to get off my blog at work. Oh and DO WORK.
But IT'S FRIIIDAY!

Where I come from, we ride Mules....

Good Morning Friends!
I'm dragging this morning! Boo! My mind doesn't seem to shut off when I have a lot going on, so I didn't sleep last night! On the brighter side,  if you read my post from yesterday you learned that I've been a slacker girlfriend! Yesterday, when I got home, I decicated all my time to my man. Yes, I had a million things I could have been doing... but nothing is more important than him!
I walked in the door, put the groceries up, changed clothes, and headed out the door!
We didn't have anything planned, so we hoped on the Mule.
I can see you face right now...

You're thinking.. Wow, She really does live in an outside world!
What the crap, where does she live where they ride mules around!
No Silly... If you are picturing me and my man riding on the back of this guy....

[I'm laughing]
You're Wrong!!!!
Where I come from... Well, where I come from people do have mules,
but when I say we went riding on the mule, I mean this...

Mine & Aarons Mule looks JUST.LIKE.THIS.
No Hair. No Name. No Legs.
Just tires that run through mudd & sand!

Anyway, we rode it around. Through the trials & on the dirt roads. It was great!
It was MUCH needed time together doing silly, itty bitty stuff!
Came home, I cooked a good dinner & bundled up to watch a movie I don't know the name of, but was interesting! It was so nice! We both enjoyed it!
We forget to set aside the hectic life events for moments that matter most.

I get off today at 1:00pm YIPPY!
I have a lot of run arounds to do, so hopefully I can get it all done!

HAPPY THRUSDAY FRIENDS!!!

Suggestions for a GOOD Vaccum Cleaner?

Ohhhh, I'm having a hard time keeping my eyes open this morning. I had a REALLY tough time getting out of bed! I'm so ready for September to pass by! As much as I loooove to host and give parties, I'm exhausted! They are so much fun & I really enjoy it, but I'm so tired! Last weekend, you know I had my MIL birthday party. GREAT fun, but I haven't recovered. This weekend, was pretty busy. Friday night, I kept my two nieces, Emily & Chloe. [I have pictures, but haven't downloaded them yet] We had a great time. Emily is one and sleeps through the night. Not Friday night! She stayed awake from 1:00am-3:00am starring at me. Occassionally she should laugh, ALMOST fall asleep, then be wide awake! I was up early making waffles, watching Hannah MOntana, & playing "Let's brush Aunt Jessica's Hair" by 7:00am. Saturday, after my sister picked the girls up, I wanted so badly to take a nap, BUT there were more important things that needed to be done liiiiiike Clean the house??? I had to attend my nephew's birthday party at 4pm that afternoon & at 6:30pm I had a cookout with my old Co-Workers from the Spa. That was great. Aaron and I didn't get home until 1am. Got up Sunday, Made Mr. Wonderful ♥Breakfast in Bed♥, and off to the building to decorate for our cousin's Baby Shower. [I'll post pictures this afternoon??? Maybe???] It was a wonderful turn out! But, by 5:30pm I was in my pj's & watching NFL football cozied up on the couch! Mr. Wonderful rubbed my feet & finished up the last bit of laundry while I passed out. Here I am Monday MOrning.... yauning like CrAzY! Struggling... and get to get myself prepared for ONE.LAST.WEEKEND. of hosting. A Class Reunion.!!!! No, I haven't been out for 10 years, but we were always a very close class so we are having one before our 10 year mark. I'd like to say more of a Class "get together". I'm actually looking forward to it. After that, my weekends... well they aren't slowing down, but I don't have to be in charge. Seriously, I'm e.x.h.a.u.s.t.e.d!

So, now that I am done complaining, What I AM looking forward to, is decorating my house for the fall! I ♥ pumpkins! Anyone else justt as excited as I am???
Also, Mr. Wonderful told me to price some Vaccum cleaners!  Yayyyy!Any suggestions??? I'm SUPER excited! Now, I don't have to keep using my mothers. What a pain it has been to tug hers back & forth. We are both big vaccum freaks... I feel my house is clean when I vaccum, even when it is NOT.

Now, on to more important things... making NEW friends!

Good Morning Everyone!
Well, it's Thursday and I am SUPER excited!
I just finished my 9th day of my P90X work out. Wow.. It's tough!
It's feels so great. My body is actually feeling wonderful and getting used to popping up at 5:30AM.
It's also my half day. Four hours today!!! Yay! But that means I work Saturday.. BOOOO! It's okay!

I want to take the time to THank EVERYONE who responded or contacted me about yesterdays post!
I am so inspired & have hope for happiness and strenght to maybe let go some. All of your words were touching and so kind! I teared up a little. It was so awesome hearing the same words from people who don't know me personally, as it is hearing it from the people who know me best. I was very weird about posting that yesterday, because I'm not one to throw it out there! I speak with caution. [Sometimes, ha] I just felt I had no where to go! Again, thanks to everyone! Y'all are great & I'm so happy I blog and have met all of you!

I look forward to meeting many more!

A Guilty Conscience -

Smart and Trendy Moms

It's the Weekend and We have NO PLANS except Mr. Wonderful is taking me on a HOT DATE tonight! Oh, he's so good to me!!!!

- So, I try to pertain the duties of a housewife. Not because I feel like it or Aaron expects me too. No way! Only because I want too & ready that's how I am. I'm a care taker. Everyday I cook, I clean, I do Laundry, I make sure his uniforms are ready set... blah blah blah. We eat together, go to bed together, and make sure there is "US" time. One thing I don't do... and I really am going to try and start, is getting up with him in to morning. I get up 30 minutes after he leaves for work and he doesn't mind it. But the other day, jokingly I heard him say to someone, Yeah, It sucks leaving Jessica in the morning while she in the bed. I did think to myself, awe.. but nothing else really. I leave his medicine on the counter with an empty glass & his clothes are laid out ready to be put on and then if he wants breakfast, there is pop tarts, toasterstuils, bagels, or English muffins. Is that bad??? I feel bad.
I think 30 minutes is nothing. I think I'm going to REALLY try to get up with him. Today, he has off. So it was my turn to leave him. I HATED IT more than anything. I couldn't do it. I kept coming back and sitting on the bed talking to him. Who the heck wants to be talked to when they are sleeping? I HATED it so much & had a hard time. He communicated back, but when I was leaving he says I get to be Jessica now... "I love you baby, have a good day!" - UGH! pooh on you! So, do you get up with your hubby or better half?
I'm struggling with this, and think it's time to get up and make breakfast. He's a hard working man, in the HOT heat all day. He supports me, he supports us.  Truly, I'm spoiled and get anything thing I want. [With Reason] He is amazing and deserves company. Right? What do you think? What is it like for you at home? Help me, I feel guilty! What do you do? How does it work?

Jury Duty Results

Good Morning Friends!
I was NOT chosen. There were supposed to be three trials that need jurors, but instead two backed out. So, there were a lot of us there, and I was one of the last jurors. But let me tell ya, I was nervous, but kinda excited. As I said, my grandmother always said being chosen for Jury Duty is one of great duties, besides voting as a US Citizen. So, I was kinda looking forward to it, if I were Chosen. But.... The ONE trial that was being picked for was Child Molestation. My heart dropped to the floor when I I heard those words. Along with everyone elses. But I had to remind myself, that's why we were all here. There could be a chance the man was not guilty. I became REALLY nervous then. I know it would have been very emotional for me. I don't take stuff like that very well. Although, I'd love to put a person away if he or she was guilty. I'd Blow them away... haha, not funny, but seriously... I would if I felt he or she was guilty.
Anyhow, most of you who commented on yesterday post, said you have no been chosen. Your day will come. Until then, join along in the Thrusday Blog Hops!
