Where I'm at in Life...

Some things can never be unseen. Memories are lost everyday. And small moments aren't captured. For me? There is nothing like talking about old times. I can do it all day, everyday, with anybody.

lately, at the same time... I never stop smiling. He makes me so happy.

Home Life: It's really great. A little stressful because everything is just out of the normal with the wedding.

* There isn't a corner in our house where there isn't clutter.

I threw a fit. Yes, a throw down fit last night about this particular issue. It's driving me crazy. The wedding has my house turned upside down.

* For so many years, I worked really long hours and two jobs at a time.

I'm completely smitten by my extra time at home with Aaron and by myself.

TV shows: American Idol. Swamp People. The Bachelor/Bachelorette. Animal Planet. 

Extra time: Wedding. Snuggled up on the couch.

What excites me: *The Wedding *Planning the wedding *Our new vegetables chopper *Our new waffle maker *The new one cup coffee/tea/hot cocoa/espresso machine sitting on our counter. *My new frying pans that sit fly and not wobble.. yay! *ALL the cleaning supplies received from the showers. [Yes, an excellent gift. Enough to last us about two years] *Another excellent gift; spice rack, a basket full of all... ALL spices or add ins.

 A moment I never want to forget: Aaron getting pissy

[remember, he never yells or raises his for at me... EVER. I've never seen it.]

when putting together all the storage cabinets, the futon, or the [my eyebrows are raised] storage shelf that goes over the toilet... yeah, he threw it across the living room and yelled "this is a piece of crap!!!". I was mortified. my response, "Whoa, totally uncalled for. You are acting insane."


Life is so good right now.
Not perfect, but right where we want to be!

Breaking the Ice [One Day Late]

1) Tell one thing not many people know about you.
I am an extremley exciting person. Okay, so that sounds just bad.
I'm not saying I'm amazing. What I'm saying is I get very excited for everything.
Excitment is one of my personality traits.
Along with my A.D.D. & my A.D.H.D [& I love my A.D.D & A.D.H.D], I come across overwhelming to people who don't know me sometimes. You may have just bought a house or just got engaged or just found out your are having a baby and I will just as excited for you [seriously, hand down] as if I were experiencing it for myself. I'll probably ask you questions like "How did he propose?" etc. when I don't know you that well and I truely REALLY want to know. I love happy times. And when I'm experiencing something new or happy myself, my excitment comes out everywhere. This is just who I am.
[I chose this answer because this year inparticular I've run into people judging me for my excitement and not knowing how to take it. That insults me. So I've had to learn that my excitment can be overwhelming and maybe annoying (to that sour, I hate my life person(s)). But also understand that it is who I am. I can't help I am a happy person and I rather dwell on happy times when sit and talk why life DOES suck at times]

2) If you HAD to change your first name, what would you change it to?
Geez, I don't know. As a child, I always wanted my name to be Rebecca.
But, if I had to change it now, I'd change it to Rainie. That's what everyone called my grandmother. It's short for Loraine. ♥  Or maybe I should change it to Ann for humor.

Well, besides Aly getting Blue from OLD SCHOOL in my head, I would probably say my Something Blue for the wedding. :)

Kim - She's laid back. She reminds me a lot of my grand mother.

 A care taker. Frugal. The woman can go into a grocery with $50 and come out with what I call a months worth of groceries. She's an amazing cook, loves to bake. Her heart is soft, yet so big. She's a Mother to four, a Wife, and an awesome sister. Kim is a best friend.

Brian - Oh brother. Loves attention, very hyper. Hilarious yet sometimes over board. [in a good way] Loves to make you smile. Will play a joke on you in a second. Takes things one step TOO FAR. Can make you feel comfortable in an awkward position. Sports fanatic... seriously. Can tell you anything you need to know about Football or Baseball.Being competitive gets him in trouble.  A Family man. A Husband, a Daddy to three, and a one of a kind brother. Amazing person to have in your life.

I can honestly say, I've never heard him yell or raise his voice! Ever!

I'm comfortable around strangers. Aaron, not so much!

Neither of us win this trophy. I wouldn't call myself a neat FREAK. But, I'm very certain about things in the house & my house is usually always clean. Aaron isn't neat what so ever, nor is he certain!

We've flipped through the years together. It used to be me, but I think he wins this one.

Him on work days. Me on weekends!

Com'on! We were 15 & 16 years old! Mama wouldn't let me go further!

But, he did pick me up. Sat & talked to both my parents for the first time, brought me home and walked me to the door. I remember him being scared to death! This was his first date & first time meeting a girls parents!

 We both have big, fun families!

21. How do you spend the holidays?

We don't have a set holiday schedule since our work schedules are always unpredictable. All of our family lives in town, so no matter what our work schedule might be we get to spend time with both families during the holidays! It is my FAVORITE time of year!

We are equal!

I'm jealous that he can loose 10 lbs in one week or how tan he gets with one day on the river & He's jealous because I kick his butt when we play WAR or Phase TEN every time!

As far as being jealous of other guys or girls... there is none.

Neither of us have a reason to be! Jealousy will destroy you, and that's not acceptable.

I was hooked right away. There was something about him that drew me in!

It took Aaron two years of on & off agains to finally fall completely in love with me!

We are both eaters! But, he definitiely wins this one!

 I'm a Property & Casualty Insurance Agent

We both do laundry. But, believe my man enjoys it!

Day 21 - A Picture of myself

Emily's FIRST birthday!!!!

Happy Birthday Emily Grace ♥

 

ONE year ago I experience one of the most breath taking moments of my life.

The birth of my youngest niece, Emily Grace!

I was nervous due to the fact that I had no clue what I signed up for

 & of course because I have a weak stomach. I am not the one to be around when blood is in sight! I was honored when my sister asked me to be apart of her birth, along with her husband, Tommy and my Mom.

The room was crowed with nurses, my sister... well you can only imagine. Tommy was rootin' her on, holding her hand.  Mama was crying because Kim was crying...I was holding one leg rootin', and watching every bit of it!

After seven hours of being there and [guessing] forty five minutes of actual labor...

I'll never forget when I saw her head start crowning... I couldn't believe my eyes!  Tears were pouring as I saw her dark brown hair.. I began to panic a little. Minutes later, my sweet baby girl was getting cleaned up & weighed in.

Her healthy lungs wouldn't stop crying until she was in the arms of Kim & Tommy!

Kim did not have a C-Section.

I was just playing the part!

Since then, Emily has been a true blessing to all our lives.

She is the happiest baby & so pleasant to babysit!

time on Monday, the 17th to take a few photos of her!

Today is great! For the past three days I've been getting up  @ 5:30am and working out with a friend of mine. A workout is tough for me now-a-days. Just call me lazy. After putting on some yucky extra pounds and my pants not fitting AT ALL... Something has to be done! We are in it together, I'm so sore and my body... I'm not sure how it's responding. I'm definitely feeling muscles I didn't know I had but I feel pretty energetic! I like. Aaron is leaving for the weekend to attend his friends bachelor party. I'm excited for him but of course, my selfishness likes to kick in riiight before he leaves. I absolutely do not like sleeping without him. It's bad. :D

Poor me, right? Nah I'll be okay! I'm actually looking forward to ME TIME!!!! I'm getting off early today so we can spend some more time together! We have date night at home tonight! The plans are to grill out, and enjoy his favorite meal; Steak, Twice Baked Potato, & Salad! I'm looking forward to it! Oh & before he leaves, he gets to attend JURY DUTY!!! How Ironic? He's says I had something to do with it. :D

My First Blog Bash ----- HOW FUN!!!

Its my FIRST Blog Bash! I've been to a Tea Party and now I'm joining in on a blog bash with Not Your Average Teen! I'm SUPER stoked!

Although I use my "AUTOGRAPH" [like I'm famous or something] all the time  Miss JLA, I do have a name. Rarely do I post it, but because this is my first blog bash, I'll make it special! My name is Jessica. I live in a small country town outside the city of Savannah Ga. I'm a city girl with a slice of country. I live in a southern country town for two reasons. ONE- my parents built a home here when I was 15, I didn't have much of a choice. TWO- I am completely in love with the worlds most incredible Southern Man, Aaron. We are high school sweet hearts and were hooked from the second we met! Sounds crazy to find your soul mate at age 15, but it does happen!

Okay, so there's another reason why I'm in the country... I do like it. Sometimes we think we know something is right for us, until we find something different! Opposites DO attract!
He's my good ol' southern man, who loves to get involved in anything outdoors; Fishing, Hunting, Bow Hunting, etc. Me?  I love to wear my aprons & dresses, my stilettos & wedges, and I love to make sure his tummy is full, clothes are clean, and he's completely happy all around.
I'm the entertainer!  I love to host parties of all kinds. [Mainly for the ladies] but I will be sure to throw anything. I love being a friend, a daughter, and an Aunt! My most important thing in life is to make Aaron happy... and myself! He's the one I want to spend forever with!

Aaron and I have just remodeled a new home for the two of us.  WE LOVE IT!!!! Home is definitely a place we enjoy!!!  Yes, we've been together for 10 years, we are NOT married, and we just remodeled a home together. We play the role of being a married couple. Aaron takes complete care of me in every way possible. I'm a little spoiled to tell you the truth! Although, I'm getting more and more ready to be a wife as the day goes by... We still aren't there yet.
We don't want to rush anything... Our Life is too precious!
 I'm the housewife [minus the wife] && he's an AMAZING provider - together we are great lovers. We are best friends and have an outstanding relationship that has battled through the rain, and now enjoying the rainbow... We are looking for our pot of gold!

Aaron is a mechanic, working at Badger Rental.

And I am a P & C Insurance Agent & a Cosmetologist

One day, we plan to be business owners and a stay at home Mommy/Wife!

We are not working, we are with friends, attending family events, or just hanging out together.

1. What do you look forward to the most on the 4th of July?
Fireworks && the Water!
Before I journeyed into my grown up life... My family and I would always spend the Fourth at Daytona Beach. A few years Aaron joined us too. But since we started living together, we've ventured away && changed it up from time to time. I don't care what we do usually... But it's a DEFINITE that we see fireworks. && We usually end up on some lake. This year, today... we just got back from Lake Mariam!

2. Are you a hugger?
Definitely!!! A hugger, a cuddler, && a snuggler!


3. What is your favorite BBQ'd food?
I'm not a BIG fan of BBQ. Yes, I will eat it. My top pick for BBQ, would be chicken!


4. Do you like to watch parades?
Ohhhh... I'm a parade-a-holic! Any parade! I get VERY excited!!!


5. Who has stinkier farts..boys or girls? 
Eww.. I've smelt both genders that were pretty darn awful!!! In general - Water Poots && Under the Sheet Poots are the absoulte WORST! Speaking for Mr. Wonderful.. He isn't so wonderful in that department!

Ohhhhh! Ahhhhh!! Vampires!!! SEEEXY!

Good Bye Age 24!!!

 I am NO LONGER 24 years old!!!!  
Welcoming myself into the world of 25!

If you've read my latest blogs this week, you'll know that I've already had a few birthday bashs! Again... I'm a Birthday Queen! My Friends && Family know this. Besides Thanksgiving, This is my FAVORITE time of the year!!!!

Last Night ... I fell in love all over again!
 Aaron took me on a date. Now... We go on dates quite often! I'm spoiled! We definitely take advantage of our time together. But, they usually are the same thing! Dinner & Movie or Dinner & Putt Putt - NOT COMPLAINING... I love them all!!!
He changed it up last night a bit!!! We had the BEST time EVER!!!!

We started off having dinner together at Carlitos, Mexican Resteraunt downtown!
Downtown = Savannah [my favorite place] It's a little out of Aaron's comfort zone... He's better way back in the sticks... I'm all about a city && the fuss!
Dinner was so wonderful. There is nothing I love more, than to have dinner && sit && TALK for hours && We did, Two Hours... After 10 years, we are still  able to just talk about nothing.. and have the best time.

It was a little akward, due to the ginormous tables!

Well, there's more! Across the street is a Chocolate Bar, LuLu's && it is ANOTHER favorite of mine. I love this place! Perfect place to cozy up, fall in love, && get romantic.... Noooo, not yucky love stuff. I'm not a PDA kinda person! It's also a place I loooove my girlfriends & I to visit on a ladies night out!

Broughton Street... I love this place!!!

This place is INCREDIBLE and always sweeps me off my feet!!! Check LuLu's Out!  The atmospere & the surroundings make me feel like I'm in NEW YORK CITY!  Savannah isn't "fancy"... it's gorgeous, but not "fancy". Ohhhhh How I love the City Atmosphere.

MANY years ago...

it was Valentines Day....

When we first fell in love....

We both TRIED to go out of our ways to make it special....

Didn't have a clue....

I brought Melted Chocolate & Fresh Strawberries...

We planned to "feed" them to each other... Like the MOvies....

BELIEVE ME WHEN I TELL YOU....

Not everything you see in the movies, turns out graceful....

Of course, being young and .... young...

I thought you had to be sexy...

When Aaron feed me my strawberry...

Who knows.. I guess I did it right... [What's Right?]

When I feed Aaron HIS strawberry...

He devoured it in one bite...

I left out telling him we were supposed to be sweet and cute when we ate them....

that moment... I died laughing at his face && have never left that night of eating strawberries...

When we ordered them tonight...

After a few drinks...

We laughed harder than HARD...

It was great..

Tears were filling the eyes && we were re-living a moment from 8 years ago.

It was the most special moment of the night!

Let's go home....

My 25th Birthday was the BEST ever! Whoever said growing old was rough... I disagree! Growing up && getting older... gets better every year! Life is TRULEY Amazing!
