Savannah Georgia Meet Up: all RSVP's needed!

Hey Y'all

Time is ticking and we have two weeks until we
get to meet in person - how exciting, right?

I can even begin to explain how excited I am to finally hear every one of your
voices & see real life personalities. Yay!
Behind a computer can be tough to learn at times.

So here's the deal.

Lori & myself have decided not to post to many details on our blogs only in protection of ourselves. Savannah is a wonderful city, however you never know people in this world.

Lori is going to send out ONE invitation through email
with all the details, times & events we plan to do.
It is not to late to join this day with us!

Here are the things we need from each of you
if you are 110% in this...

I know several of you have sent us this information
to us - thank you. If you have done so, then we have your info but please
let us know you are definitely attending this blate.

It's crucial everyone sees this & lets us know that you are 100%
coming. We have all day to fill & have awesome events that we want to
participate in. Lunch & Dinner need to be reserve for all of us - please don't
ignore this.

However, in order to completely finish planning our
day with y'all, we have to see who all is in.

We want to do some kind of tour -
Movie Tour, Trolley Tour, Haunted Tour, but there is a fee...
This is a reason why we need you information & your RSVP.
I'm in the process right now trying to maneuver the group rate down to
the least as possible!

Definitely plan on....
Lunch, Dinner, Shopping, a Savannah Tour

... if you do not have a blog URL, please make a google
account so you can comment on this post with your contact infomation.
I am SO very excited & as I speak for Lori, she is too.
We have been looking forward to this for SO long now & the time has come.

Everyone have a wonderful weekend.
Xo

Are you Just Married, or Just Married?

"Nobody gets married to be Just married."
I've been waiting very patiently for this to post.
A good friend of mine, also a blogger, name Caitlin has started going to
a new church, a church I am very aware of and is extremely popular in Savannah.
She invited me to go...
I'm going Sunday. I'm pretty excited.

Savannah Christian Church is doing a series called
Just Married ?

There are five sermons, well I've missed the first four - bummer.
But since Caitlin shared this wonderful experience with me, I've jumped right in.

I'm all in.

She told me to watch the three that have already been preached, on their website. When I only watched ONE, I was immediately drawn to it. Which is what I want to share with you.

I've gotten so much positive feedback on both of  my
Inside Your Relationship posts that I knew everyone who felt I was reaching out to them
would LOVE these sermon{s}.

Please watch it. You won't be disappointed.
Cait said those exact words to me when she asked me to attend.

Trash in your Marriage - {isn't posted yet but keep looking for it.}
Were'nt they wonderful and inspirational?

What did or didn't you like about it?
Did anything hit home?
Could you relate in any way?

Do share - your words may help someone else.

over in a lot of ways.

The weekend is over...

I'm still hungover.
I've never been so exhausted.
Seriously. No joke.
my body hurts and my eyes are struggling to keep open.
I look like my dogs morning crap.
... yes I made it to work - no I am not gonna get a damn thing done today.

"Why does my body hurt so bad?" was the question of the day yesterday & yet still today. It never dawned on me until I was driving back from brunch...
"Holy Poop, I just figured it out" were my exact words.
I thought it would be okay to hold a 40 pound precious
little girl on my shoulders so she could see the parade better...
#Dammit.

I should have listened to Rachel {her mom} when she tried very hard to explain that
carrying a child on your shoulders is a mans job.  I'm over being "The Cool Mrs. Jess..." She never warned me that it would add age to me the next day - And Lacey is tiny. Really tiny. So tiny I'm embarrassed to explain how much my body is aching. I can't imagine a heavy child.

Besides the four hours of sleep Friday night, the seven hours Saturday night
& the six hours of sleep last night - I never slowed down not one bit.
I partied like a rock star.
We partied like we were in the movie OLD SCHOOL.
#truestory: "I like your green hat" was my quote of the weekend.
I even pretended to be Frank half the weekend. I may or may not have even done
the Frank the Tank impresonation... not once but twice -

However, I had an amazing weekend.
One hell of a weekend.
So much fun. So many laughs. A lot of good memories with wonderful people.
I'm over being green. I'm over drinking beer. I'm over partying.
I'm over not having my beauty sleep.

A full St. Patty's Day/weekend  post will be up sometime this week.
For now, I'm over & out.

go green or go home.

Happy first day of March!

I always look forward to March for many reasons - here's why:

Mommas, my BIL & bestie celebration
another year of LIFE. Yay! :)

St. Patty's Day!
Amazing holiday I always enjoy celebrating.
I didn't get to attend St. Patty's Day last year like I usually do due to work.. it sucked.
However this year it falls on a Saturday which means...

Party rockn' in on the house street tonight all day...

Ohh.. and I can't forget
too much of this

(143)green beer

Yes, that is green beerGet in my BELLY!!!

The hubby & I are planning to do our ritual which is joining my bestie & her
partying family as we all watch the parade as it marches by us on Bay Street, Savannah Georgia.

Bagpipes are seriously the best thing EVER.
I absolutely LOVE hearing them when they pass us. It's just awesome!

Okay, we miss a LOT of the parade due to actions like this.
But seriously, we had a heck of a time.

Can't wait. 16 days to go.
Take a look on last years St. Patrick''s Day 2011 -
Maybe you can venture down/up/over here next year!
It's ONE.BIG.PARTY!

Please remember - not ALL of these people being interviewed
are NOT from Savannah. You'll see ... a LOT.

Holy 6 month of marriage --- a whole half year!
Niiiiice. I love my husband. Marriage is SO good!
