Five Question Friday

I am SUPER excited! Tonight, we are keeping our nephew, Reid Avery! His parents, Bridget & Patrick are celebrating their 4th year anniversary! Reid is growing up so fast! He loves his Uncle Aaron... but reallly LOVES is Aunt Jessica! [Wink Wink] Yesterday, I spent hours cleaning the house trying to get it ready for this weekend! [Aaron's Birthday Party] Also, making sure to vaccum and get the nic naks out of the carpet. Reid always seems to find the most random pieces to nothing! Our carpet is the speckled kind, so it's hard to see random little object. It blends very well. Not to mention, our house is NOT child proof! So, we're thinking of keeping him outside! Who knows! Be sure to check in on Sunday, It's Aaron's 26th birthday!

Now, for something I have neglected in a while.....

It's been so long since I've participated in FIVE QUESTIONS FRIDAY with Mama M! I miss her!


1. What do you listen to while driving?
Kidd Kraddick in the Morning! I love it! It cracks me up!
Other times in the car, I listen to my IPOD when it isn't dead, or flip stations.
2. What is your least favorite thing about Fall?
Hunting Season! - ha! Aaron would love that answer! It's kinda of bittersweet!

3. What does your dream house look like, inside and out?
I'm not sure. There are so many different homes I love, that are SO different. I guess it will just come to me [US] when we get to that moment in our life! Right now, I'm focused on ... maybe getting a ring??? Hmm, yeah, that's it. That would be super nice!
No really, When I picture my future HOME TO STAY and raise my children in, it has LOTS of windows, white with black shutters, & a wrap around porch! We definitely want is southern style country home with a nice piece of land, a white picket fence, and a pond! That's a MUST have! As far as the inside, Who knows! I just want a FUN stairway!
4. Would you ever own a minivan?
Sure! Why not? I'm not a big "gotta drive a fancy car" or "Spend a fortune a month ONLY to please other people" kinda person! Never have been. If a minivan suits me in the future, than sure! If it doesn't and something else does, I'll get that too!

Funny Story, My parents have one. They pull it behind the motorhome when they go off on vacation. Back when I blew my motor up in my Stang' waiting for it to be repaired, I had to drive the minivan around. Okay, now, at this moment in my life... a car isn't my biggest concern. If it drives and it's good on gas, I'm ready to go! But, 3.5 years ago was a different story. Although, I was thankful my parents lent it to me instead of renting a car for $30 a day, it was hilarious! 6 MONTHS, I drove around sporting the minivan! You'd be surprised at the honks I'd get on I-16!



5. Do you wash new clothes before wearing them?
No. Never even thought of it!


Well, I had fun! I sure hope everyone enjoys their weekend! I know I am! I'm SUPER excited for tomorrow! It's gonna be so nice!!!

1. Are you a neat sleeper or a messy sleeper?
Messy. I sleep onto of Aaron. When we wake up, our sheets and blankets are ALL over the place. I do make my bed everyday though.

3.What is something that you wish you had been warned about?
Although I was 22 and NEW IT ALL. I wish someone would have knocked since into me, when I took a loan out to fix my first car, Bertha... My mustang. LONG STORY. I just paid the car I drive now, off... yet I'm still paying off debt for Bertha. Yuck! Slowly but surely getting there.


4. What is the best thing you ever found at a garage sale/flea market?
Jackson. Our Shih Tuz. - HORRIBLE picture of Jackson... his first BAD BAD BAD haircut!

5.If you could have any meal brought to you right now, what would it be?
Hooters Daytona Wings & Hooter Fried Pickles! Oh we've been craving them so bad!

I was obsessed with The Little Mermaid. I had everything. But, no I do not have any of it today.



2. Do you dream in color?
Yes, I do.


3. How tall are you? Do you wish you were shorter or taller?
5'2 - I do wish I had longer legs, but then again I don't. Mr. Wonderful isn't the tallest man in the world, so I'm okay with my height.




4. If you could have anyone's (celeb or other) voice as the guide on your GPS, who would it be?
Jason Aldean - HIS voice is so sexy!




5. Do you return your shopping cart to the corral or leave it wherever in the parking lot?
97% of the time, I do return it. The other 3%, I'm that pain in the butt person who doesn't.

Yes, basically random little scars. As a kid I was a bit of a tomboy. [seriously] and I'd climb trees, playing with fire, TRY to scateboard... Nothing crazy.. just little ones!








4. What is a food that you like to eat, but others might think it's gross or weird?

Campbells Chicken Noodle soup [right out of the can]
My Mom thinks I'm disgusting!

 







5. Have you ever seen a tornado in real life?
I have not. But heres a small story. Aaron's parents house, the front, which is the kitchen] is all glass. One night, they were sitting there playing cards. Him, his parents, and uncle... and a tornado circled their entire house killing everything, except the house! So, Aaron has witnessed a tornado!! SCAREY! They all freaked, went into the hallway, and covered up with a Matress!

1. What is one thing you miss the most about childhood?

PLaying outside. Mama always made us find SOMETHING to do. If it wasn't raining, we were outside... Building Forts, Making Mud pies, Riding Bikes, Drinking out of the Water Hose, Lemonade Stands [Actually made a lot of money doing that] && playing with my neighberhood Friends!
It bothers me now that times have change. Kids are staying inside watching TV & playing Video Games [Speaking for my Family]. Using your imagination... Geez, right out the window.. Now I here "What are we going to do next?" - Riding Bikes = BORING! I love to ride a bike! Water out of a water hose... People look at you like your craZy && lemonade stands???? The world can't be trusted!!! I hope when I become a mother... I can bring back the old days!!!

2. Are you still friends with your friends from high school?
Yes. I live in a VERY small town. So I see a lot of people I went to school with.

Oh My.. There can be alot!
The four letter dirty word that is called vagina... C*NT. I hate it.. dispise it && get grossed out with any foul mouth person uses it. 




4. What is one thing that you think symbolizes America...besides "Old Glory"?
Our Soliders -

I tear up when I think of what they do in order for our country to be free! They are the bravest, strongest, && most worthiest symbol we can have! I Love my Country & Love where I live!




5. What are your 4th of July weekend plans?
Yay! I've leaving this afternoon to head to South Carolina! We have property up at Santee Cooper!! There are a bunch of our friends going up to celebrate. We'll be boat riding, sand dar hogging, cornhole playing, && watching Fire Works! Too bad my office isn't closed on MOnday.. I HAVE TO work!!! BUt... I am OFF THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY, & MONDAY of next week! YAy!!!!!

1. Do you know how to play a musical instrument?

I do NOT know how to play an instrument. Years ago, I taught myself how to play my grandmothers Organ.. but's since she's gone to heaven... I've never picked it up again! :( BORING!

 2.What's your pet peeve while driving?
A slow driver in the fast lane! THEN you go to pass them on the right lane [illegal] && they speed up!

3. Would you rather have a housekeeper or unlimited spa services?I NEVER want a housekeeper. No, I do not think anything is wrong with it. But, it's so rewarding to me when my house is clean && I got it that way. I LOVE the spa.. Once upon a time I worked at a Spa... Oh boy did I take advantage. Pedicure every week & an HOUR massage at LEAST once a month.... I miss those days!

 4. Is there a song that you hear that will take you back to the moment, like a junior high or high school dance?
Oh there are many, but one that will bring me right back to the night all my classmates were in Orlando, celebrating Grad Nite... USHER ALL THE WAY! Pretty much all of his songs were BIG HITS in 2004 - But the one that stands out most is...

5. What song best represents your life right now?

Okay.. So I've been with Aaron for 9.5 years. We share a home, share money, take care of each other like Husband & Wife, talk about our life together, have bigs plans together.... I'm ready. && yes... it's taken everybit of 9.5 years to get to this point. If i had a choice to change things and marry him years ago... NO WAY! We've changed SO much through the years, struggled MANY of days, && today our relationship is beyond incredible. I'm just ready to be a Wife... [He knows this]

OKAY - So.. I'm adding a little sump-sump to this blog... If you read my blog yesterday.. You would know that my 25th birthday is in two weeks... My girlfriend, Brycelyn threw me [& my best friend, Danielle (24)] a small cocktail party to celebrate. I'm a birthday queen && think it's SERIOUS to celebrate ALL ages and ALL birthdays. It should NEVER be just one day. My man disagrees. So, take a second to look at my first celebration of age 25. It was great!

1. What is your favorite thing about summertime?
Oh do I love the Fall. Georgia Heat KILLS ME! This past week our heat index was 115. OUCH! It feels like an oven! But... what I DO look forward to, is the Water. I LOVE sitting on a sandbar eating watermelon, drinking a cold one, with good people to enjoy the time.  I love boat riding!!! It's so much fun!!!

2. What is your ideal retirement location (if money didn't matter)?To be honest, I don't think I'd wanna move anywhere. I DO know.. I want to travel as many times & see MANY places possible all around the world... and then just come back home... To Ellabell!


3. Do you live in the same town you grew up in?
Sort of - I've grown up in the same county. Richmond Hill & Ellabell/Pembroke are Bryan County... As a little girl, I knew life in the city [Richmond Hill]... Later... We moved to Ellabell. Ellabell is where I call Home [The Counrty Side].
Which is where I graduated from High School, & Yes... we plan to live here... probably forever!
So, not really.. but Sort of!



4. What nervous habit did you have as a child that you kicked to the curb before becoming an adult?
I wasn't ever nervous... I was A.D.D & A.D.H.D - & haven't been able to kick it to the curb! I was the kid that made everyone want to pull their hair out.


5. What is the most embarrassing thing that happened to you while on the job?Ohhhh Geez, which time? I'm always making a goober out of myself. The one that stands out the most is... many, many years ago I worked at Cracker Barrel, through College, as a server.. one of the nights I had to work we were slammed. My body couldn't pase fast enough, my head couldn't think straight, and my words were scrammbled!... Let me repeat myself, my words were scrammbled!
SO, on with my story. As I've said, we were slammed. I'm pretty sure I had 5-6 different tables at one time, that was normal at Cracker Barrel. I was really happy to see this old couple sit at my table.. Thinking to myself  "Ohhhh, only two people... and they are old... maybe they will take their time so I can catch up..." As I walk to their table I'm greeting them 90 to nothing... I talk fast on a regular base, so you can only imagine.. or can you??? I don't remember exactly, why I was tellling them about pork chops, I don't think there was a "specific" night were pork chops were served, maybe it was just a special... ANYWAY!!!!
I  can ramble, can't I? So I'm tlaking to this couple & going 90  to nothing.. something like this : - Hi, My name is Jessica, I'll be your server tonight. Can I start you off with a sweet tea, coffee, or a coke? [that was my intro...always]
[and if servers want to hurry the process, we would try and take the order on the first stop] Okay great! Tonight our special is, Fart Pork Chops...........

THat's right, I blurted out FART Pork Chops.. as the lovely couple was looking gracefully at their menus... they just looked up at me, over their bifocials... something like this.....

only they were sitting at Cracker Barrel.

Nope.. that's not it!!! Everything was going so fast.. I didn't know what to do. Do I just apologize? or Just skip over it? ....
I skipped over it.. STUPID! I could feel my face screaming, I'm humilated!!!!!
So, nothing was said.. I only received really confused looks.
They said they would take a minute, of COURSE! So I get their drinks, come back... start to take their order and the gentleman says...
"I'll have the FART PORK CHOPS."
You can only imagined the look... &&& I busted out laughing, & so did the couple!
It was awful.. I was beat red & I don't think I will EVER forget that couple!
