Q's & A's about THIS girl... Take Two

Happy to know everyone else thought my
HELP for my husband was wonderful & it's normal to want to
have to write an apology down on paper rather than say it out loud.
HA! Really normal, right?

So I've been slack, this is true.
Forgive me? Good.  I'll try to stay on top of my posts
a little better than I have been.

Today, I have the rest of my answers for you.
Again, thank you for being so patient with me as I've taken far to long to respond.

Starting with Jill , she had curiosity with my favorite song that is out NOW, who
my celebrity crush is {boy oh boy}, my all time favorite TV show & if I've
ever had a moment where I laughed until I cried.

1} My favorite song out right now would be Boyfriend from JB.
I'm a 26 year old true fan of his and even if I weren't, I'd love that song.
It's gets my soul pumping in the mornings.

I JUST heard this song this week...
&& I love it. It's Tim McGraw - I Better than I used to be
It's on repeat everyday.

2} Celebrity Crush - Ryan Reynolds all.the.way.
He's gorgeous!

3}ALL time favorite TV show - The Ellen DeGeneres Show
I DVR it every day and watch it every evening as I cook dinner.
Not a show goes by that I don't find myself laughing... a lot!

HUGE fan of The Bachelor/ette - I'm watching every Monday night when airing.
DVR-ing this show is not okay.  I also LOVE Criminal Minds. I DVR them but watch them occasionally. I'm a sucker for crime scenes.

4} I have laughed until I cried - many of times with a lot of little things.
However, this is still on my Bucket List because I'm waiting for a big moment in life
where it really happens. I can't wait for something BIG to take place where I can
write down every moment, every second and when, where and why.
I think everyone should be hopeful for one of these moments in life.

Ali wanted to know what my favorite part about a Bachelorette Party
& how I decided to start selling Pure Romance.

1} A Bachelorette Party....
I actually had to come back to this because I didn't really know what my favorite part was.
I've never posted about my bachlorette party because I'm lame.
When I got to thinking about what my favorite part was & all the parties I've attended,
the part that brought me the biggest smile was the after math.
The ride home. The next day. The time to go home. The talk about all the shiiii that went down and  who did what.  The I feel like my dogs shiiii that's stuck on the bottom of my shoe but holy mess... remember doing this?
There's something about a Bachelorette party that makes the wild come out
in most ladies. Or it definitely does me. Scavenger Hunts, Drinking, Getting Pretty &
hung over the next day.  All the talk about it is the best part to me.
The memory.

2} I've always hosted PR parties for my friend Karen who's been a consultant for
11 years now. It was always kick-ass fun and entertaining. In college, I hosted a party every 3 months and then we'd finish the night out on the town.
Karen has been trying to get me to sell for ... COUNTLESS of years.
I never really was interested. Until Feburary 2011.
I had lunch with her that day and again, she was trying to get me to sign up.
At the time, Aaron and I were JUST getting started planning the wedding & at the time
we were prepping to get pregnant ... on the honeymoon, after the honeymoon, whenever it happened. We discussed how much it would be great if I stayed home and quit working.
This was our plan. When having lunch with Karen, she was talking PR and mentioned how much she made just in the month of Feburary. I was floored.
Went home, discussed with with Aaron & on March 4th I bought my kit.

Being a Pure Romance Consultant, you are your own boss. You make your own hours. You are the stay at home Mom, yet you can bring in just as much in two parties {4 hours per party} as one can make working 40 hours a week. Legally.

Since I've joined the team, our plans have changed as of May 2011.
We realized we have our whole lives to be parents. We wanted to be married for a little bit. I love selling PR. It's easy. It's fun & I do NOT call it a job.
I probably only book myself two parties a month, if I want more I can do more
and use the $$$ for our extra wants around the house.

My girlfriend Karen makes $65,000 a year. She is a stay at home mom with a husband who works night shift. She doesn't miss out on anything with her three children.

Pure Romance is an AWESOME company & wonderful products.
Most people assume it's a {Dil-Pickle} party, however it's not & I'm slightly offended when I'm known as the {DiL-Pickle} lady. I make sure to correct those words just as soon as I hear them.
We educate, entertain & empower woman. We offer ALL products such as bath, massage,  bedroom accessories, lingerie, make-up & skin care.
So happy I signed up!

Samantha Lynne asked a popular question...
She claims my hair is perfect, and wants to know how so & what I use.
First let me say, it's not perfect. Its actually broken and damanged as all get out.

Go to the FIRST  set of Q's & A's to read the products I use & what
I do to my hair!

Thank you! ;)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kristie, my bestie & fellow blogger wanted to know
what my favorite Ice Cream & Nut was.

This could get dangerous.
Hmmm... Do I dare?

My favorite Ice Cream....
Probably Coffee or Strawberry.

Boring?

My favorite Nut. Okay, so ....
It's definitely a pecan.
I could eat a bag full ALL day long.

-------------------------------------------------------------

And Miss Stephanie wanted to know being I stayed so busy
what did I do with my spare time, my "Me" time. Me with no one else.

She got it right, I do stay busy. Most of the time I don't have ME/ALONE time.
But... every now and then when I have open time I do...

Nothing. I'm just has happy as I can be cuddle up on the couch
catching up on re-runs or Criminal Minds, The Golden Girls or Ellen.
And usually end up watching a lifetime movie or two... or three.
I make sure to have my most baggiest {& most comfiest} clothes on [being I don't wear them around the husband] with lots of pillows and a blanket... droping the AC down low. That's what I do.

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE to get a pedicure. But that involves other people.
I'm the awkward girl in the chair next to you who is asleep... jiggling to death as the massage chair throws me all over the place.
That's me!

MY answers to YOUR questions...

Last week I stepped out of the box and asked all of you
to ask me anything, so you could get to know me better.  I had a lot of fun answering these questions and though there are a lot on my {hair}, I tried to answer my best however I think I'll be doing a DIY post soon on the curling technique I swear by.
So hang on tight, I'm working on it. There is still time to ask your question{s}, GO HERE to add yours!  Until then, have fun!

Here it goes.

The Bargin Blonde broke the ice with....
1. What is your favorite Zoo Animal?
2. What kind of hair product do you use.

1} I absolutely love the monkeys. All of them. They are hysterical.
They are plain disgusting. But I enjoy watching them. I also love the Giraffes, there is something about them that amazes me.

2} Hair Product. Hmmm...
Being I used to be a hair stylist this should be good. But really... it's not that great.
On a regular basis I shampoo & condition my hair with Redken, Color Extend.
On a shopping trip with a tight budget it's Dove. {I know, go ahead and boo me}
And when my hair is disgusting and needs oxygen {always} I use Wen shampoo & Conditioner - it's way too expensive for me on a regular basis.

I don't usually put anything in my hair on a regular basis.

If I curl my hair, I usually wait three day to wash it.  I have super thick hair and it barely gets greasy. Dirty hair holds curl.  I absolutely swear by Redken {Spray Starch} if you are one whose hair NEVER holds curls. With the proper curling iron technique, I promise you... it will hold curl.
{key to curling iron curls, never start at the bottom of your hair strand}

For Volume. Okay, so I should have lived in the 80's because I am a rock star at heart. I believe in big hair. I tease my hair. Oh yes, tease it all the way.
However, if my hair is pretty clean I'll use some Redken {Guts 10} for some ump-th in my roots.

This all sounds like so much, but really I don't take a lot of time with my hair.
I wash it. Blow dry the roots. Let the rest air dry and never brush it.

Oh and I love love love love love It's a 10 Products.
Seriously. The leave-in  conditioner product will change your life.

Now that I've written a whole post on hair... I'll try to keep the rest to the point.
probably not.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mrs. Carolyn asked me....
1.  How do you get your hair so cute?
2. Whats your biggest guilty pleasure?
3.  Describe your perfect day.

1} Oh goodness. [blushing]
 {Read above}
2} My guiltiest pleasure is definitely crap food.
I'm such a snack-er & love to dine out. If Mexican was healthy, I'd be a rail.
That being said, I really want to learn to live a healthier lifestyle.
Pray for me. I'm six days into living {eating} healthier.

3} My perfect day___________. Are we talking in reality or my pinterest life?
In reality my perfect day would waking up to my husband at one of the old Bed & Breakfasts' downtown Savannah.  Breakfast would be waiting for us, ready & hot.  I'll take waffles & maple syrup with strawberries on the side.  Aaron would be having Eggs, bacon, grits with cheese & toast. He'd want milk, maybe OJ. I'll take a cup of coffee with a small milk on the side.  We'd enjoy the peace & quiet while we ate in bed watching re-runs of Reba. {Yes, Reba} We'd take our time getting ready, no rushing or watching the clock is allowed. We'd walk down by the river for a little while listening to the men play their saxophones & flutes as we walk in & out of the shops. We'd picnic in Ellis Square for lunch {in a non-sappy romantic way} or maybe underneath the enormous oak trees watching kids play soccer or Frisbee. Maybe we could practice my kite flying skills too?  Enjoying the wonderful company of my husband - talking about anything that crosses our mind. Just enjoying the little things & life in general. There would be great laughter.
Ending my perfect day with a little pool time back at the stay,  sipping on cocktails...
winding down. Nothing fancy for dinner. We'd take the pedicab over to Sweet Melissa's
and order a large meat lovers to-go. Back to the B&B we'd go and end the night exactly like we did when we we woke up.... In bed. Only we'd find a new movie to rent on TV.
THAT would be my perfect day. Seriously.
{Notice all the food I talked about}
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beth asked me ALMOST the same thing...
What steps/products do you use in your hair.
Are you really Gluten Free.

1} Haha, everyone is making my blush with all the hair questions.
You guys are ALL too sweet! As far as {steps} goes, I don't really have any.
But since everyone is questioning my hair, I'll do a solo post on ...
maybe how to curl it?

2}Am I gluten-free? Again, only for six days.
Do I have the CD disease, no I do not. I choose to go gluten free because...

a) my cousin lost 30 pounds on it.

That brought my attention closer. I started to ask her questions and guidance about it {no lie} about two months ago because I wanted to loose weight then. Well, since then I've heard more of Gluten Free... pretty everywhere. I listen to the same radio station on my drive to work, Kelly went Gluten Free. I started seeing it everywhere in the grocery stores.
And there was something else that rang a bell to my brain. I don't remember.
I believe in signs. Whether it's true to not, I don't care - but I always chose to believe
I see or hear things for a reason.

I've been wanting to really change my eating lifestyle for forever now.
And since {in all reality} I'm having a weekend trip {involving the beach 7 bathing suits} with 6 other of my middle school friends that I have NOT seen in yyyyyeeeeeeeaaarrrrs, I want to loose weight and learn to control it. {They are all size like... 4, yikes!}

Also, I have horrible acid reflux & my digestive system... sucks!
So, eating healthier and learning to paying attention to what I'm eating will help both of these {major} issues with my body.
So this all brought me to the gluten free diet/lifestyle.

Beth also requested a picture of my red hair.
Yes, this is my natural color hair.
If you follow me on Instagram {@stilettosandafishingpole}
you've seen this....

& I just posted this one as my {a younger you}

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Breanna wanted to know what's in my shower?
And also if I had to put a holiday on repeat everyday for the next year what would
it be?
1} My shower... It consists of two Gillette Fusion Razors, {I prefer men's razors, they seem to do much better jobs.} A large tube of Coochy Shave Cream, Men's Dove body wash, Escape bubble bath {scent, island breeze, my favorite}, Redken Color Extend Hair shampoo & conditioner, also dove shampoo & then my newest and latest product that I love is the St. Ives Apricot Face Scrub... Ohhhh It's heaven. From our faucets, I have a one pink bath ball puffy scrub thing & a blue one... for me & for him & can't forget my finger nail scrubber.

2}I'd put my anniversary on repeat.
Pretty funny being we haven't even celebrated our first year yet but I know that
whatever we decide to do it'll be traveling & just the two of us.  We plan to travel as much as we can & do as much as possible before having kids.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Sarah wanted to know "How do you keep it hot in your marriage?"

I feel so funny answering this because I'm still a newly wed, most people say or think "Oh they are still in the honeymoon stage."
However, I've been with Aaron for a little over 11 years so it definitely has to been freshened up very often.

I try to always pretend we are still dating.
Flirt: whether it be grabbing a hand full of toosh or giving a
sexy wink across the room without anyone else seeing... I believe in flirting.
I try to look cute at home; Yes my make up comes off. No my hair doesn't always look great, most of the time it's wet or balled up in a messy ball however I focus on what I wear around him. I think this is very important.
Change up in the bedroom.
Conversation. Talk but listening is what wins the heart.

...... To be continued for
PART II
next week!

Living in Yellow, link up.

i linked up with Erin, from Living in Yellow, with
25 facts about yourself.
this was extremely hard, but here it goes.
one.
i take long hour [sometimes two] baths everyday, never showers, of course unless I am not home. I refill my bath tub up three times with hot water & bubbles & my wine glass. it's the only time i actually s.t.o.p during the day.
two.
i have no fear of a dance floor.
i am that person that never leaves & by the end of the night her face is apple red.
i would love to take ball room dance lessons at some point in my life.
this is me doing the 'bernie' for the first time - at a wedding this October.

three.

three.
as much as i will not admit it to my husband...
i'm the biggest sore loser when playing against him.
four.
i get high off of hosting parties.
something about the details brings joy to my heart.
{expensive hobby}
five.
i talk a lot.
too much sometimes.
i talk faster than the normal.
six.
i am very comfortable in my own skin.
i have my moments where i wanna wear baggy t-shirts to hide my
bloated- i ate too much- gained 10 lbs {opps}... but i like my body and what
god has given me. that being said... if i ever got any kind of change to my body, i would
have them suck out my boobs & inject it in my butt.
seven.
i have a weird love for airports & flying.
something about tugging my luggage around & waiting on a flights
excites me. makes me feel like i'm somebody... big. {ha}

eight.
i want to learn how to sew... really bad.
on my 24th birthday {2 years ago},  my mother bought me a sewing machine
and i've yet to learn. in fact, the box was never opened until my aunt came down for the wedding. i refuse to get rid of it.

allison rainie drew.
allison because 'alli' was the only  girl name Aaron liked many years ago
when randomly discussing names. Ali Drew didn't work for me so I added allison.
rainie because it's what everyone called my grandmother - she was the rock of the family.
the best part about that name is it's Aaron's initials. That was not planned.

thirteen.
aaron is ahead on 'baby time' more than i am. i'm not ready.
but i'd be lying if i told you i don't picture how sexy he'd be as a daddy
... everyday.

fourteen.
i always read the last chapter first before i begin a book.
i read magazines starting from the back.
15.
i have two tatoos.
sixteen.
i'm so unorganized, yet the most organized person you will ever meet.
unorganized = items or clothes behind the cabinets/closet doors of stuffing clothes in drawers because they can not be seen {worlds worst} is my weakest & it drives me crazy. yet i document everything & start planning for events in our lives months before the day. i have binders & folders that keep me organized.
that being said, i've already started planning our 1st year anniversary.
seventeen.
on my sweet sixteenth birthday party, I {& two other friends} performed a coyote ugly dance in front of my 40-ish high school friends. we used a slip N slide as my bar top & actual took tea pitchers as they did in the movie to pour water on us, we even had spotlights on us. it was a moment in my life i will never forget and often go back to it.
