First Wedding Anniversary... Any ideas?!

Our FIRST Wedding Anniversary is coming up soon && even though I haven't quit planning (or trying to, to say the least) for the past 6 months in my head, I just can't decide what we should do.

Which is why I'm blogging about it. Maybe you can point directions? Help us out. Remember, we got married September 3rd so it'll be hot weather down here in the South!

Here are the Places that have been in && out of my mind -

St. Augustine - we went there last 4th of July with my family && had a wonderful time, said we'd like to go back.

Epcot Disney World - visiting "Arould the World" at Epcot is something we've wanted to do, myself more than, for a few years now.

Charleston- really anywhere in the Carolinas. I don't know much about the Carolinas - anyone know of a cabin like place or winery we may could visit.

Helen, GA - may sound cheesy but this is where we fell in love. We were on vacation with my parents, ages 16/17 && it was our first time spending the night together && all weekend even though we did NOT sleep together. I still am weird about that with my Dad around - not sure why. But anyways, it's a very special place for us.

Florida - a weekend away on a beach. Any ideas?!

How about GA - anyone know of any weekend get-a-way hunts or cabins anywhere?!

All feedback is appreciated. I'm writing this from my phone so I'm sure it isn't my prettiest post - peace out sistas!

Love ya, mean it -
Xo, Jess

My daughter took me to Southport/Oak Island , North Carolina over the weekend. It was a beautiful little town right on the beach with very friendly people and great food. Fishy Fishy for dinner is a must. It was my first trip there and my first beach trip ever. I will definitely visit this sweet little coast side town again. Congrats on your upcoming anniversary. I celebrate my 25th on Tuesday.

Well, being from South Carolina makes me a little partial to that idea. Charleston is always beautiful. Georgetown is a lot like Charleston, but smaller. A plus about Georgetown is that it's only 30 minutes away from Pawley's Island and Murriels Inlet - which are about another 30-45 minutes away from Myrtle Beach. I love PI & MI because they are much less touristy and a whole lot nicer.

We recently went up to Ashville, NC and I fell in love. =) It's such a quaint town with so much to do, but it's unique, you know? AND Ashville has the Biltmore House (ah-mazing) which has a winery included in the tour. Super cool thing to do!

WHATEVER y'all do, I know you'll have fun! =) Good luck!

I vote Florida! Not that I'm biased or anything ;) Going 'around the world' at Epcot is a must at some point and it would be a blast with your hunny! AND the Food&Wine Festival may be going on at Epcot in September which would be the prime time to hit up the park! Google it :) The BEST beaches in Florida are on the West Coast--look into Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key...it's gorgeous there! We go every year for a week. Very relaxing and quiet and gorgeous water! BUT I can't compare Florida to the Caronlina's since I've been dying to go there as well!! You have too many ideas girly!!!

I vote for Saint Simons! My husband and I have been twice. We stay at Saint Simons Inn by the Lighthouse (http://www.stsimonsinn.com/). Every room is different and you can pick which one you want to stay in. We always stay in 111. I love the little downtown area which is a short walk away. We also hit up the beach and went and played golf on Jekyll Island!! If you're thinking mountains, we had a lot of fun up in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge too. We stayed at a cute cabin up there (I can get the info if you're interested). We did Dollywood and ziplining too!

On our first anniversary we celebrated by having a nice dinner at home that we cooked together. Then watched our wedding and reception video... and my hubby danced with me in our living room. :) sweetest night ever.

I've never been to the South, but I think all of those options sounds great! I love the idea of going back to the place where you fell in love! :)

Anywhere you go will be special because you'll be together! Happy almost anniversary!
