It's all about him tonight♥

Aaron does so much for me. He always brings surprises home for me. Leaves $50 on the counter with a note saying, go get your nails & toes done. Takes me out. He spoils the complete mess out of me. Aaron never lets me do things for him or treat him.

When I found out this country singer, Brantley Gilbert was coming to Savannah, I knew this was a perfect moment to treat my love.

I had every intention in surprising him, however... I'm not the best at keeping fun secrets from him. So, he knows about this date.

I'm clocking out early, going home to get dolled up...

Orignally, We were going to dine in Savannah at one of our favorite restaurants downtown, Carlitos Mexican Grill, however a lot of our friends bought tickets also and are all going together, so plans changed a little bit. We will be dining with everyone before hand at Wild Wings Cafe' and then we are off to watch his favorite country singer perform on stage.  It'll be great!

The Background Story

of why Brantley is so special to us.

I was introduced to this fella early last year [2010] when Aaron went up to Santee Cooper, SC for the weekend. I stayed back because I had to work. However, I missed him so much that I drove up to see him and spend the rest of the weekend [Mothers Day Weekend]. He was so surprised and happy to see me, that he canceled his fishing trip that night with the fellas.

As I've explained a time or two before, Music is very big in Aaron and I's relationship. He has never been one to "pour his heart out" in words. It's always been through music.

This particular night, Aaron made me feel so special and like we were Freshman in High School again falling in love for the first time. Sitting outside on the rooftop in a regular every day conversation, he looks at me, hands me his IPOD, and says... There is a song I want you to hear.

[That means, he has connected a song to me]

I, of course got excited, however... I didn't realized how amazing the words of this man [Brantley] would make me feel coming from my love. I had complete butterflies. If you would like to be taken back to that very weekend,

 Go HERE! Kind of weird, because it was Mother's Day weekend... Just as it is this weekend!

I always say Aaron isn't very romantic, however... I forget so many times, what this man does to me!

Months Later, riding in his truck, Aaron played another song for me...
Telling me this is my song all the way. That this song was mysteriously written for me, because it fits me to a tee. Listening to it, I cried and laughed through the whole thing.

... A little Secret - This song has a part of our wedding day!


We LOVE Brantley Gilbert & are BIG fans. It amazes me that he is not on the radio.
His music is great and we [Our Relationship] can relate to SO many of his songs!
