10 Day YOU Challenge {Day Seven; 4 Books}

Happy {FIRST} Birthday {as a wife} to my hometown friend
And guess what??? She blogs... so head over to
 A Country Nest  & wish this southern gal a fabulous birthday!

Cait, I wish you the happiest birthday E.V.E.R! & Hope you get everything you wanted... {the camera strap & handprinted necklace}.
Remember, us ladies have birthday months... so stretch it as long as possible♥

Now.... for the challenge!
Day Four
... books.
Books... my FOUR books may surprise you or bore you to death.
But you must know, I am not a reader. Never have been. Books have  never ever ever ever been an interest to me. I'm one of those people who have to read the same line three times just to comprehend what I read. Yeah, annoying!
But book # 1... never did that. I connected with it.

1. The Best thing I ever did for my Marriage
by Nancy Cobb & Connie GrigSby
You may be totally confused by the title of this book & yes... it is for married couples.
But the best thing I ever could have done for my relationship was read this book {January 2010}
I swear by this book. I recommend it to every woman on this planet who is married or knows you're with your future husband.

2. The Politcially Incorrect Wife
It's authors are the same as the ones ^above^.  This is a book I've been dying to read but could find no where. I finally ordered it & it should be at my house any day now. I'm very excited.

3. Love & Respect
It was very ironic this particular week I heard about this book. A girl I know from a hometown & a blog friend [Lryrn @ Breaking Through ] both told me {without knowing anyone told me} about it within three days of each other.  I immediately took it as a sign from the man above to buy this book. SO I did. It's very good. Still doesn't beat my #1 book, but I often think of the chapters of this book daily in my relationship with Aaron.

4. The Bible
Clique, right? Well, it's true.
It's a book I neglect. I pick it up... not nearly as much as I should. But I'd like to know it better.

SOO sweet of you Jess! Thank you! This made my day {morning} ♥

When you mentioned The best thing I ever did for my Marriage a while back, I ordered it. I still have not sat down long enough to read it. I carry it around in my bible case. I will sometimes pull it out during church & glance through some of the stories. I've read a few chapters & each story is incredibly inspirational! I'm taking it with me on vacation & hopefully will finish it!

Hope you have a fabulous day my friend!

Just getting caught up on YOUR blog this time ;)

We read Love and Respect as part of our premartial counseling---LOVED it. We found it so simple and practical for our relationship.

I'll be checking into your #1. I have this sick obsession with marriage books.

Hey there would you mind letting me know which web host you're working with? I've loaded your blog in 3 completely different internet browsers and I must say this blog loads a lot quicker then
most. Can you recommend a good hosting provider at a reasonable price?
Kudos, I appreciate it!
