My Weekend Recap {+ a yummy recipe}

My Weekend was phenomenal!
Extremely busy but so much fun!

Friday: Clocked out at 6:00pm.
Aaron's grandparents wanted to host dinner for us & give us our wedding present early!
{the sweetest couple, E.V.E.R! I love them as if they are my own}
Then went home to P.A.C.K for this weekend
because I.AM.GETTING.MARRIED!  Can you believe it's finally here.
Tomorrow is my last day of work and I'm off for TWO WEEKS!
I packed my wedding day bag, rehearsal day stuff & all the gifts {32}, & then our overnight stay bag for the wedding night.

Saturday: I had to work that morning, BUT it's my last for the next two weeks.
When I clocked out at 2pm I went to the mall to pick up all my wedding day makeup.
I'm super stoked about this. Shot home to work on last minute projects, basically wrapping
things up & then that evening was my Lingerie Shower. Hosted by my bridesmaid, Rachel. That was so.much.fun. Check back for a post {after} the 13th of September.
Sunday: Bridal Portraits! Due to my dress taking longer than expected for alterations, I had to push these back. Better late than never. We had to wake up at the crack of dawn. I decided to go more natural than my wedding day look so I'm anxious to see them. I wanted a specific look. Our engagement pictures suited Aaron and I. Our Wedding Day pictures will have their own touch & be wedding day pictures. But my bridal portraits... I wanted them to show me. I choose to go with a 'Southern Belle' look. The pictures were taken in the town where I originally grew up, same county but on the opposite side of where we live now. Our town town is the small country town where Richmond Hill is the city side. Totally different look. It's a beautiful place called
The Ford Plantation! Go HERE to check it out. {It's worth it}
We had to wrap things up after a few hours to shoot over to my nieces birthday party.
Emily is TWO. I love birthday parties.
That evening Aaron and I went home  DO NOTHING because I was exhausted.
A lot of my [out of town] family is coming TODAY and I'm so excited to see them!
I can't wait..
Tonight: Honeymoon Packing! Whoop Whoop!
Which should be easy because I've been packing here and there for 3 weeks now. We are BOTH more than ready to get away.

{Last week, we tried a another yummy recipe from Pinterest, it's below}

Pepperoni Pizza Puffs

•3/4 cup flour

•3/4 teaspoon baking powder

•1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

•pinch of salt (my addition, optional)

•pinch of red pepper flakes (my addition, optional)

•3/4 cup whole milk

•1 egg, lightly beaten

•1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

•1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

•1 cup cubed pepperoni

•1/2 cup store-bought pizza sauce

 Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 24-cup mini-muffin pan. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, Italian seasoning, salt and red pepper flakes (if using) ; whisk in the milk and egg. Stir in the mozzarella, Parmesan and pepperoni; let stand for 10 minutes. Stir the batter and divide among the mini-muffin cups. Bake until puffed and golden, 20 to 25 minutes. Meanwhile, microwave the pizza sauce until warmed through. Serve the puffs with the pizza sauce for dipping.
