Every morning on my 35 minute drive to work,
I drink my coffee, put my makeup on and never miss a moment of Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, a radio station (97.3).
Every year, Kidd {the name of the main Dj} and his team
raise up thousands and thousands of dollars to help make several kids dreams come true.
Not just any kid, children with illnesses. Cancer, heart defects, Cystic Fibrosis, etc. The list goes on and on. They do this by raising enough money and take the children and their families to Disney World. This moring Kidd stated "I had so many mothers tell me that this trip makes a difference in their childs eyes. It helps them hope for more and fight harder." When I heard that my heart broke, my tears filled up with tears {as it's doing now} and my emotions were indescribable.
"I founded Kidd's Kids in 1991 with the hope of making a difference in the lives of terminally and chronically ill children. Each year, Kidd's Kids offers five amazing days of suspended reality to children whose lives have been ravaged by disease. Kidd's Kids children and their families are given the chance to experience the exuberance of being "normal." That is the gift that you and I can offer by supporting the Kidd's Kids organization." Signed,
these videos of these precious children just finding out they are going on the
trip. It can change you. It does me. If you can donate your pocket change
to help make a difference in these childrens eyes...
it could be your child or maybe it is.
