The Bachelor: Cheesy First Impressions



Maybe you are new to my blog, maybe you aren't either way you will

see that in the past two years I've become really hooked on his show.

This seasons Bachelor is Ben Flajnik - the runner up {who got down on his knee and proposed to Ashley and was rejected} on last years Bachelorette!

I liked Ben. I think he is a doll.

I've been counting down the days {like no joke} since it was announced on TV when the first show would aire....

whiiiiich was last night. Enough with the yaddi yaddi ya...

There we {my hubby & I} were at 8:00 sharp - Spaghetti Dinner all set up on the coffee table in the living room ready for the show....

Okay, Did you watch it? So you are with me on the 'Cheesy First Impressions'?

I mean golly geez, if I were about to meet a guy who can possibly be the love of my life -

I do not want to start off

A} Running to him as soon as I get out of the Limo

B}Write a poem that says "Don't make fun of my butt chin dimple"

C} Hand Sanitizer & spraying breathe mints in my mouth

D} Bring my grand mother along... who also had more conversation with

the Bachelor than I did. Right? Right!

If you have no idea what I'm talking about...

Let me just introduce you to a few of the CrAzIeS that I saw last night.

Before I do let me just remind you in case you didn't really know

Girls are just awful & can be SO mean.

Ericka  studys Law & woed him with

"Verdict is in and you are guilty...of being sexy."

Okay not horrible compared to the other lines - but still... hold for later.

Ericka was given a rose.

Amber - Nurse

"My last name is Bacon...do you want a little taste?"

Do what? Really, you are trying to find your husband. Sex is important in a relationship {marriage} but I would NOT want my first impression to be a sex appeal. I sure hope there is more to her {like eating cow balls SERIOUSLY NO JOKE} than wanting to taste bacon because its my last name because I'm Canadian. Weirdo. I thought she seemed pretty cool in her video - but this is why she went home. Knowing Ben from last year, he is sensitive not a horny toad. Geez ma-nitty!

Jenna - New York Blogger

Okay I was REALLY excited about her. Even Aaron got over excited when "blogger" showed up under her name however - This girl was a basket case! One thing I do NOT understand about this show whether it's the Bachelor or Bachelorette is how they get SO upset when they leave before even knowing who the

main catch really is. What if there is not connection for you. right? I mean I get it. It would be embarrassing.  - This girl is definitely gonna be a star of the show - I mean like Drama wise.

Jenna was given a rose but I truly think she's here to stay for the show.

Courtney ... the model.

I'm not digging her. I hate cockiness. Well will see  more of her later.

Emily, a PhD student seemed good BUT

 she is the one who hand sanitized his hands & sprayed breath mint spray in his mouth

&&& gave him the first kiss. I don't dislike her but I think she'll stick around.

Even though I was so embarrassed for her & found myself ready for it to end, her rap song to him

was pretty good. Then again, cheesy on the first night of meeting ANYONE.

Emily was given a rose.

Samantha tried to rule him in by wearing her pageant sash to a pageant that nobody has heard of.

It MAY be different if it's like Miss Georgia or Miss Universe but Miss Pacific Palisades? What is that?

Lame! However, Ben liked it  because she too was given a rose.

Holly, who reminds me of a faker Emily wasn't so bad but REALLY

could have lost the Hat. I mean I get it. You are from Kentucky but really... he couldn't even hug you OR see you face. Hello! Other than that, she wasn't bad.

I can't really remember but I think Holly stayed & was given a rose.

Aaron seems to think Blakeley, the "VIP Cocktail Waitress" is a stripper.

It convinced him more when she pretty much let boring pony tail like rape her with her eyes & words.

Speaking of ponytail lady, Monica.

First thing she has to say to Ben is "I miss my dog." Really?

But then it explained it because I really think she is there for the wrong reasons.

And just because I have to say it... Why would you really wear your hair in a slick back ponytail.

Nothing stylish about it. Cute dress, bad hair!

She stayed - Ben must have liked it.

Okay now... Brittney,  she brought her Grandmother with her to woe Ben.

Come on! Just because he is a family man... really? Grandma? I mean sad to say - but all Aaron and I could say about that is wonder how Grandma was taking all the judgement and harsh words from the other ladies as she watched herself on TV last night. I mean, Grandma & Ben had more convo than Brittney did.

However, she was given a rose.

I knew the girl from London was going home. She was sweet but full of energy. I'm hyperactive but I could hardly keep up with her. And her poem to Ben about herself... Don't point out your flaws within 5 minutes of meeting the Bachelor. "Don't make fun of my butt chin dimple" - really.

Yes, she went home.

How about the girl who got out of the limo AND SAID NOTHING.

Seriously. Why would you just walk past him & not say anything.

I sure hope you didn't wonder why you weren't given a rose . Here's your sign!

The last two I wanna discuss are the two I really liked:

Lindzi, who happened to be my FIRST like {judging off looks} when the ladies were first announced. who rode up on a horse. Okay, a little weird & cheesy but as soon as she got off -

I liked her. Well, I liked her in her video - speaking of that, how about that text from her Ex boyfriend - how HORRIBLE. Wow! Anyway, I liked her a lot from the start minus the horse.

Lindzi was given the first impression rose!

& Jamie, the one who adopted her siblings because of a rough past. She didn't go into cheesy lines or make a fool of herself when first meeting Ben. She walked gracefully, smiled & introduced herself. Normal.  Ben also gave her a rose. Yay!

Okay okay... SOOOO much to say! I'll start with ...

I could not be happier for Brad and Emily!

 Yay! I haven't danced in my living, sweated under my arms, nor have I had the yucky scary feeling in my tummy as I did last night in.a.very.long.time! Boy, was I going crazy. High & Low moments!

It was great!

My Thoughts & Opinion on last nights show

Chantal meeting Brad's family- It went well. She was carefree and happy.

Someone, please tell me there is at least ONE of you out there that when meeting your beau's parents, better yet MOM... You told her how "awesome" she was that night.

I finally realized why I never pulled for her last night. Do I think she fell in love with Brad, yes. But geez, I feel she is a push over. Trying too hard. I love you. You better put the ring on my finger. Just marry me already. blah blah blah. Racking my nerves.

LOVED the map she drew. That was awesome & the letter she wrote to follow was pretty great too. I have to remind myself that she did put her heart out there.

Sharks? Let me just say... I love my man very very very much. Always have. Many of times I would have done a lot to prove my love. However, I will not jump in a pit full of frogs for him. No way, never will. Deep water was Chantals biggest fear, not alone deep water with great whites. Stupid, Brad would have had to send me home.

That being said, It was pretty cool. [ha!]

Overall, I thought their date went really good. But I did notice, he didn't touch or kiss her much.

Okay, I was nervous. They really liked Chantal. Emily looked amazing, of course.

Hated seeing the families face when Brad informed them she had a 5 year old. My heart dropped as well as all of their faces. My heart dropped more when the younger brother asked about the "dad". Awkward? But good... They were all broken hearted. I was proud of Emily for saying it so strong. I broke down in serious tears, like.a.baby when Emily was talking along with Brad's mom. I loved how open she was with all of them. Seeing his mom crying over "My favorite part about what Emily said was... She said he was her Angel."

Boo whoo... I was bawling.

Their last date? WTH? Boring and he looked like he didn't want to be there. I was soooo nervous and freaking out at this point. But my gut said the show was just doing that to screw with our mind & hearts. Again, back at the house. Brad's words to Emily were to die for. I wanted her to shut her trap when asking over and over again about being a dad... however, I can't imagine. This is her FIRST time letting a man in Rickis life, let alone going to be a father figure. I could see both sides of the fence here.

When saying goodbye to Emily, I knew she was the one because Brad did not want her to go. Quote Aaron, "He had no problem saying Bye to Chantal."

The FINAL ceremony....

I knew whoever was going to be seen first was the goner. I hate Chantals hair up, however she looked really pretty. LOVED her dress. I was really nervous for her... I was.

Then, Brad speech... she was at awe until.. "This is where it gets hard..." Man, I can't imagine what she felt like because I had to get Aaron to pull the dagger our of my heart.

Seriously. Her tears were so real and I pretty much saw her heart through the black dress burst and die. I hate broken hearts, and though I was TEAM EMILY all the way... I was broken for this girl.

Then Emily... Brad's smile was so real and happy knowing Emily was on her way.

She too, looked great. His words.... Oh my! Gosh, they were awesome. Aaron swears he wasn't, but I'm pretty sure Brad Womack got to Aaron too. His words were incredible.

The Ring... My ol' my. Beautiful. However, I'd pissed that he didn't even have any part in picking it out. I guess that's how it goes? I don't know being this was my first season watching. I couldn't have been more excited and happy with the turn out of the show

Someone, PLEASE show me where Emily is LACKING Emotion?

The After Show...

This is what every ones talking about. I won't lie. I was in shock when hearing Brad say they actually broke up & that March 14th was their actual wedding day but.....

Let's bring Emily out.

Okay... I'm sooooooooooo annoyed with the media & feel like going off on these people.

The entire world was TEAM EMILY. Never did I see... "I want Chantal to win" whatsoever...

Now that the to have admitted they are struggling, She's no good. WTH? He picked the wrong one? Did he really? Chantal is already dating someone else? Which is a crock of crap. She's still in love with Brad [& that's okay] and to her saying "I've found the one". Bull crap sweetie or you wouldn't be crying, begging for answers. That's why you weren't picked because, once again... you are trying too hard and forcing love.

Ya can't force love. It won't work.

 Yes, we all knew Chantal was loving him... so why now that the "fairytale" isn't a fairytale, Emily is trash? A Bitch? Snotty? Oh, I see the real side now? Question for all those crazy people... Do you show your blog friends/In Laws/Your Children's Teachers/Preachers & Pastors/Your Doctors/Neighbors your winy side? Your grumpy side? Your crazy temper tantrums? Your insecurities? Your... whatever it is you have.. because we ALL have something. You probably don't.

Because Brad referred to "Sweet Little Emily" having a different , big deal! We all do and if you say you don't... I'm giggling at you. Let me tell the world... There are two people in my life that get my yucky side. That's my wonderful Man & my mother. Everyone always asks me, "Jessica, why are you always so happy?" "You are always in a great mood." "Do you ever have a bad day?" OF COURSE. Ask those two people.

REAL RELATIONSHIPS have good and bad and difficult times.

As much as I always dreamed of having the fairytale... thought everything was supposed to b e perfect for the longest time [I struggled, but woke up & smelled the coffee].. well, I do have my fairytale & it was the hardest thing I've ever done and it's STILL not over. But we are strong now. I think that's what Ryan was saying to Brad and Emily. It's the struggles that make you strong. I could NOT agree more. You think 50 years of marriage is perfect day in & day out? No way.

I respect Emily NOW more than ever. I like her more and more.

Everyday relationships are not South Africa Picnics or Elephant rides. Who does that? TV!

I.could.not.imagine.watching. my man kissing and touching other woman when I thought... When EMILY thought her and Brad had the only chemistry. Of course it stirs things up, if it didn't... THATS when theire is problems, because it's fake.

The show has only been off air for four months.

Saying, "I want a fresh start. Now that all that is over, I want an everyday, reality relationship."  Is SO smart. After ALL the BACHELOR/Bachelorette Shows, there were only three couples who have made it. THREE. I think they all gave great advice and

I hope and pray for Brad and Emily. I believe she is in love with him, just as he is very much in love with her. No relationship is perfect it's so healthy & normal to struggle.

The people who play perfect life...usually are the ones who are screwed up & very unhappy. Did we NOT see the love between the two when they were watching their proposal? Sparks!

Not wearing the ring?

Okay, I didn't notice it until a friend pointed it out. I was a bit curious. However, they BOTH said they were still engaged at the beginning of the show, so I wasn't freaking out.

Then... Good ol' Brad answered ALL of our worried hearts...

It was being resized.

The Next Bachelorette...

Ashley was all over the place, therefore I had a gut feeling she maybe be the next Bachelorette...

and judging by her reactions to the episode when all the ladies were brought back...

I'm really looking forward to it. We will see.

am soooo excited and beyond pumped to watch tonights episode. I am still pulling for Emily, and whether the spoilers or not say it's Chantel, my gut has always thought Brad was diggin Emily way more than Chantel. However, I will add that he has had great connection with Chantel, until Emily told him she was falling in love with him. I'm pretty sure that's what did it. Pretty postive! That's just my theory anyway!

Somehow I ran into this first video below last week. I'm a hugh fan of Ellen Degeneres. Her show is really great. Not sure when, buuuuut Michelle Money was on her show and it's pretty interesting. Maybe the producers of The Bachelor did help Michelle look like a creepy monster. Take a look!

My Thoughts on last night "The Bachelor"

I am so excited when writing this post today, because I have a lot to say

last nights episode.

 

First, let me say... Ashley H. looked amazing. She was so beautiful & was working the brunette look. She's lost a few pounds, not that she ever needed to. Watching her was bittersweet for me. My heart went out for her because I do believe she did fall in love with Brad and isn't over him. I feel she hold a lot of regret, yet couldn't help her actions. She can only learn from them. My heart ripped out of my chest when I heard him say, I could see me asking Ashley H. to be my wife on the final day [or something along those lines] That had to be a dagger to her heart. But, in reality... If she thinks she's or was in love with Brad and had that connection, just wait until her future husband does walk into her life.

Second- Brad looked happier than I've ever seen him. Whoa! He really did! He was refreshed and looking mighty good looking. How loud did you laugh when he mentioned the "It's like your holding a little sun" statement when the naked guy came from behind them. Okay, maybe you weren't loud, but I have a very loud laugh... I'm pretty sure they were intoxicated. Aaron always wondered what happened from time to time, in between dates and so on... well, he got his answer last night. However, he was very bored and was not happy that last night wasn't the finale. After begging for my attention, trying to pull my focus off the TV, he realize there was no winning. He went and played in his man room until the end of the show.

Third- Oh... It's Emily! Definitely. Was anyone as stalk-ish as I was... trying to judge every smile, wrinkle, and facial expression Brad used when the two girls names popped up? When they showed back the two girls, when they first walked out the Limo & he saw Emily, He had the  most adorable smile on his face. Also, one of the girls... I don't remember who it was but mentioned Emily's name pointing fingers as to She was the one for Brad. I also read an article in the People magazine, from Shawntel. Let me just say, she looked so sad last night. Very sad. I wonder why she didn't get the hot seat? -Back to the article, Shawntel stated, she thought Brad was in love with Emily from the beginning." I like her & know that she too, will find someone who will love her for HER and everything she does. Yes, it would be weird knowing your conversations were going to be about death, but on the brighter said... someone has to do it. -Random statement, but back to Shawntel hometown date she was telling Brad that she see's beauty when talking to the family. I [Jessica] personally know, when my Ganny [Grandmother = Amazing woman in my life] passed away 6 years ago after battling lung cancer for a year, she looked ... bad. She was so skinny, fragile, and weak. Her face was bony and didn't look like our Ganny. However, She looked amazing at her visitation. Besides being skinny, she looked like my Ganny and that was very happy & comforting to know. My last memory was a good Ganny. Not a sick one. So, to people like Shawntel - Thank you! It takes a special person, however we all appreciated it. Sorry, I know that was random. I am guilty of this too, but people laughed & pointed fingers at her about her job, but that is who she is.

Now for all my thoughts on last night -

Was Jackie NOT so annoying? Really? Shush your mouth! Geez, She has points, but she also let me see a different side I didn't see before.

Michelle - Okay, I did feel for her. I really did. When they played back the comments she was  throughout the show and I'll be honest, I did NOT like her first time watching. But after hearing that she was being humerus and such, okay maybe she was. Loved how she said, Do I really want Monkey to attack Chantel, No. It made sense.Yes, I still agree she wasn't there for the right reasons, however she was pretty cool when she was one on one. It was weird to see a lot of the girls in the house say they were friends with her. So, I think I misjudged her. However, I did not give the pity party for all the " I left my daughter" Okay, yes you did. Do I think that makes her a "bad" mother, no way. But, don't throw your actions or verbal actions to the daughter excuse because ONE you were sent home. TWO everyone is scolding you. To the girl who sat above Jackie who said "i know my mom wouldn't leave me... blah blah blah" I wanted to slap her. Also saying Michelle was a bad mom for leaving her child. Well, does that make Emily a bad mom? No. I was seriously talking to the TV at this moment. Who was she to say or judge what kind of mom Michelle was. Your hideous words little lady is why I don't even remember you and is why Brad sent you home

you aren't worth remembering. Sorry, A little steam came out. That's what I think of her.

Impressed - I really wanna have the ability to drink wine with my foot. Seriously, that was awesome!

Chantal O - Not much was said about her, except when showing clippings of her and Brad. However, the belly situation. I thought she just maybe had something wrong or sway back or... something. Because on the last few shows... It's been poking out. Hold up! I'm not judging... It pokes out in a very awkwardly matter. Almost as if she were preggers. Not saying she is, but a pregnant belly vs fat belly are different things. Aaron and I seemed to think that that was how her body was shaped maybe or something was wrong because it was like this a lot. However,  Being He & I started watching this after the first handful of episodes, we missed out. We never saw Brad & Ashley Carnival date or Emily & Brads first date or Chantel & Brad first date. We missed out on a lot, but looking back last night... Chantel did NOT have the odd thing happening in her belly area in the green dress when she slapped Brad. Nor did she have it in Costa Rica. What happened? I'm sure they ate, but even on their "dates" with Brad... It annoyed me to the MAX because I never saw anyone finish or even touch their dinner. What is this?

First Impression Ashley - Why are you crying so much? Maybe the guys flee from you because you get attached SO darn easily and think you are falling. You can't freak men out like that. I mean, she REALLY was crying. Yes, it would hurt to hear You don't make a good wife. But Brad said "I don't think you would make a good wife for me" Meaning, you are not the one. Right? The difference I saw [because I missed the first couple of shows] Ashley was really fun & comforting at the beginning, but when I started watching this season, is when the Two Ashley's went on the date with Brad and Crying Ashley went home.  Crying Ashley was very boring on the double date. She looked miserable and sappy.  I couldn't then, nor do I understand now STILL why she was crying SOOO much.

Can't wait until next week when Brad proposes to Emily! Yay!

This ticks me off!

I haven't read it, however my morning radio show was discussing this this morning!

This is a joke. Some chick named Cory shows up NOW and says, Ricky Hendrick was really engaged to me. He was seeing Emily but engaged to me a week before his death.

*A gold digger obsessed with fame? Did you not see her HOUSE? Dude, she doesn't need anyones money.

Joke. Joke. Joke.

It really erks my soul, however... they magazines have to make money. When you sign up to be on television, you sign up for people destroying your reputation.

Whether or not any of this is true [I do not believe] Brad still feel in love with Emily. Not because she had a ex die. Not because her past. Because she was real and awesome. Amazing mother and never had any drama. The radio show also said that she wasn't a Childrens Home event planner. Who cares.

Whether she is a stay at home mom or an event planner... Why does anyone care!

Brad was SOOOO stinkin Happy & I really believe his significant other is Emily Maynard.

If she is NOT & Chantal is, that's okay too. Whoever it is is doing a perfect job of keeping Brad happy.

My thoughts on last nights show:
I was SO excited that Emily told Brad she was falling in love. I believe this was good for his ears.
When Brad says, "There is so much I want to ask you" I feel it's him wanting to know how Emily feels deep inside. I believe Brad has always felt their connection, however Emily never said those words. She did last night! I'm soooo excited and really hope Emily will be Brad's wife. Some say he isn't right for her? I disagree.
Was I the ONLY woman crying when he looked at her and said how he wanted to be a father figure for Ricki? Yes, I was crying. Aaron was laughing at me!
I loved it when Emily said, "Shut up!" when she saw the elephant! - She's so stinkN' Cute.



Prior to his dates with these ladies last night, Brad was talking about the "over night stay". This may be a little too much info, but Aaron was thinking [please don't think he is scum, because I did for even thinking this way,  but he is not a hoe bag.] Ohhh, he's gonna get freaky with the three ladies and that's how he will know. WTH? I disagreed. I said okay, maybe he'll get freaky with them, but the "lady" of the bunch, won't. Who was that lady? Miss Emily! Yay! That's why I lover her. ONE- she said she had to be a role model. TWO- If she weren't a mom, I believe she would still hold back!
However, judging by most of my comments from yesterday, Everyone apparently read the spoilers and ratted them out to me. Chantal is the winner??? No way! I will  be heart broken. I do feel the connection they have between each other... that scares me. Frown! Brad is very much into her. I've always been good at letting my heart choose and I really feel Emily is the one. But my heart VS Brad heart... Who knows. I can't decide who & where I really feel his heart is. However, I couldn't agree more, if Emily is left at the alter [frown] I do hope she is the next bachelorette!

Who is going home?

I'm thinking  [HOPING] Chantal or Ashley!

I feel in my heart Ashley is going home tonight! I love her bubbly personality, however....She's a little to push and shove! I like you, do you like me? I like You.. Tell me you like me!

Chantal... Something I just don't really care to like 110%. I don't have the great reason.. Oh wait, maybe it's because I am TEAM EMILY!

Why I love Emily? - Who doesn't? No, really - Emily is great all the way around. I'm sure she has her faults, who doesn't? But she's all around a genuine person. I love, love, love  her mommy skills!
The way she was with little Ricki was truly awesome. Her daughter is her everything, so it seems!

Why I think Emily & Brad are good for each other? - I don't really know what Brad went through before, But I believe they both really want love and are finding the comfort of love within each other. Make sense? I think Brad will be a wonderful father figure to Ricki and make up for lost father time. Being his father isn't around, I think he will try even harder to Ricki's sake!
I do believe Brad & Emily are falling in love, however I need Chantal to disappear!

The Bachelor 2011: My Thoughts

What in the world was she thinking???? Why would she put Brad through that? So many people handle death differently. My guess is 90% aren't very great with it. Yes, Shawntel made a lot of since when talking about why she loves her job and that's great. But... Geez, I knew she was going home. He felt so uncomfortable. Who wouldn't?

Her Dad? A little selfish, right? I do understand if their plans were about Shawntel taking over the business, .... Okay, to skip that... That's not what I would want to discuss if he's meeting my parents for the first time. It was so awkward. However, I heard on the radio station this morning, that the producers told Shawntel to take him there and do that stuff. So.. Maybe it was unfair, but still... to put him on the embalming [sp] table?

Yep! She was gone!

Alright, I'm so up and down with this Chantel. I like her when it's the two of them, however she's exactly what Brad described her as "An emotional roller coaster ride."

I liked her last night. She seemed fun & happy & carefree. Was her house not adorable for a single girl? - Even better... Her parents home? Who the crap has a statue in their home??? Wow! I think it went well for her last night. I really think Brad liked her family and could see himself with her. Chantel & Emily were the only two ladies he used the term "wife" when talking about them. - I thought Chantel looked horrible at the rose ceremony! Horrible!

Ashley

As I said last week, I like Ashely more and more! Last night, I really liked her! Yes, she was a little hyper. But, she reminded me so much of how my lifestyle is. No, I am not a dentist but I come from a small town [a lot smaller than her hometown] & I'm bouncy like that. However, it's not about that. I could just relate to her. I thought Ashley was adorable. My favorite was when she brought Brad to the restaurant where she first was employed & then ordered.... Fries with Gravy & Cheese. When feeding the fried to him, she stated "And I saw your Crown" - His face was priceless! I dyed laughing. Her family.... Okay they were fun! Very happy people, which is good. But when talking with Daddy, he stated Ashley didn't want children. Skiiiiiiirt! Right there he should know she isn't the one.

Emily & Ricki

Was last night not P.E.R.F.E.C.T for them? Little Ricki was soooo adorable. Her giggle melted my heart.

I loved everything about their date and felt it was very realistic. I was confused on why it didn't show any of her other family, but then we discuss that Ricki was the one person that both Brad & Emily needed approval from.

I can't even describe how wonderful, I thought their date was. The ending was a little weird, but I completely respected Brad for not making out with her. It's his first time, however Emily is so right. Ricki will always be up there sleeping, but.... I still agreed with Brad. Was her house not adorable? I want it! [haha] I do believe Emily is really starting to fall in love with Brad. Very happy to see her opening up!

 And... WhoA! She looked A-MAZING at the Rose ceremony! Gosh... she is just beautiful!

Once Again... Ready for next week! South Africa! Beautiful Country!

Judging from the previous, Ashley is next in line to go home...

However, I wasn't sure Ricki would take well to Brad judging from last weeks previous, and she DID! So... We will see!

My thoughts on The Bachelor

Since I posted my opinion last week about THE BACHELOR, I've had a lot of feed back and small talk with  many of my lady bloggers! I love it! So i figured I had to write my thoughts & opinons & even HOPES for the past, present, & future shows!

Emily

I'm pretty sure she is everyone's favorite! She's my pick of the litter anyway! She's gorgeous, but it's not about looks! She's sweet, sensitive and I really think she's liking Brad more and more. I can see more of a "wanting Brad" connection with her now more than ever. I used to think she looked scared of him. LOVED how Brad broke the rules. LOVED how he didn't take NO for an answer when they discussed about meeting Ricki! I'm super excited about next Monday. Meeting the family can make it or break it! It's a big step, especially for Emily & Ricki! However, judging from the preview... Ricki scares me! I think she may pull away from him. Hopefully it's just a tease & them making me feel that way. Because, I tell ya... I did NOT see Brad freaking out about the girls reactions after the photo shoot on the Beach in last weeks previous either.. and he did! So I'm hoping it's throwing us for a loop.

However, Can't make my mind up if Emily is right for Brad OR is it that I just really want Emily to find love? I don't know!

Aaron's Thoughts: Really likes Emily. His favorite. He said she thinks too deep & he personally could not deal with that. [What that means, he couldn't explain too well, so I don't know]

Shawntel

I really like her! I feel Shawntel is very outgoing, down to earth, she seems to get a long with everyone in the house, which means she isn't based on D.R.A.M.A [Good Sign] & I think she is naturally beautiful. I wish I had her skin complexion! HA! I really liked her date with Brad this week. I felt it was more of a reality date and she was very comfortable. On a scale from 1-10 on my judgement of Brads taste for her.... 5.

Next weeks show, he goes home to her family... It showed him on a table! FREAK-ish! WTH? However she did say on a previous show that her job was her passion and I think that's good! Buuuuut...I think that may break it for him! He stated he didn't deal with death well, her face dropped!

We will see!

Aaron's Thoughts: It annoyed him that she got so happy over seeing baby goats. He sucked his teeth. I had to explain to him that not everyone lives in a small town where it's known to have goats in your backyard or in your neighbors yard. It's not very normal to some people, to turn a corner and see a baby goat... She lives in California!

Ashley H.

I like her more and more! From the start, she wasn't one of my favorites, however I do like her and I do feel she is really falling for Brad. She has a bubbly personality! I was very please he gave her a rose at the pool; did NOT want either of the others to get one. Next weeks show: I loved how excited she got when she saw her family. I'm such a family girl and her reaction when she walked door reminded me of how I am with my family!

I don't have too much to say about her, but I do like her. I do feel Brad is into Ashley! She may be my second choice for Brad.

Aaron's Thoughts: He doesn't really have any!

Chantel

I don't know what it is about her that. I like her and then I don't. Then I do... Today, I feel I want her to go home next! I didn't like how she posed with out a top. [Ashley H. - Okay so she covered up with shells, not bad] Chantel was begging for attention and I believe that is why she did not get the rose. I DO feel.. as much as I do really like admitting, that Brad does like her... A LOT. More than I would like... But she's seems to drama-fied for me. However, on one-on-one dates I think she is really cool. But that's not how life is. You don't get picked up on a helicopter or get to go to Costa Rica and swim under waterfalls. Nope. That isn't reality. I do feel she is in love with him [which would suck to have to watch him take other people out] and I understand why she freaks out [& crys] about him not picking her over the other girls, but that's the name of the game. She signed up for it. Something about her I just don't care about. I do not want her to win.

Aaron's Thoughts: She was going home on last Mondays show! He also stated her belly was doing weird things. Does she have major swag back?

Britt

Okay, how sweet is Britt! But, you gotta admit... We don't know much about her! Which sucks for her! I feel she didn't really get her chance. Maybe something could've been. Maybe they would have had romance on the romantic island if they would have had time before. Her date matched up to the rest of the ladies dates like 3 shows ago. Of course she isn't gonna just roll around, sexually make out with him... DUH! Because this is her first time with him alone without being pulled away or having somebody stare at you. I did feel bad for Britt, however I do not feel she is effected by it. She did not cry when she talked about Brad. She didn't cry when he looked at her and said, I don't feel it. Which to be honest... that would be brutal to hear. She only cried when telling the other girls and I think that was more over embarrassment because she was waiting for her chance and everyone was confident that he wasn't giving out roses so she was safe!

So, I feel she got out okay but didn't get her chance to shine! I do look up to him for just ending then and there rather than leading her on. However, I don't think she even took a bite of her dinner! Rude!

Finally!

I had a feeling after Brad's reaction to the beach make out session maybe it was her time. When he said I've made my mind up. I know who I wanna send him. No Cocktail Hour. I did feel it was her. Because it kept showing her most & then Chantel. I was glad to see her go! I DID think she would have more to say than nothing at all.
